I am sorry the chart is not clearer.
But what does the Avg price - NW really mean?
It seems negative for the HF yet positive for the RBF. Is that significant in any way?
Not really. The average price- NW does not tell much as it can get skewed around. More base ones sold and/or less above base ones sold will increase it and the opposite is also true. Just the average NW is a good thing to look at though.

average price - NW basically means the price that a tattoo sold for minus the NW of the tattoo.

SO does that mean that HFs are selling for 4M less than their NW while RBFs are selling for 1M more than their NW?
And if so, what does that really mean, or it is a useless statistic as it does not calculate the NW of the tattoos/items sold.

If the average price - NW is higher that means the tattoos either get sold for a higher percentage of their NW or the base tattoos are sold for more money.
Also take in account the average NW, both the HaL and RoBF have higher average nw's then most other tats.

it means that if 3 of the item have been sold in auctions for say 10 mil, and that their average NW was 1 mil, then theyr Avg price - NW would be 9 mil.

But due to the fact base items typically sell for a lot and upgraded items sell for a fraction of their NW, is this statistic really useful in figuring anything out?

I don't think it is. But maybe someone do?

If an item of 10 mil NW sells for 5 mil, but a base item of the same type sells for 2 mil.
Average NW = 5 mil
Average price = 3.5 mil
Avg price - NW = -1.5 mil
Nope, does not say much at all at this point.
To answer the question in your first post to my best knowledge, the significance for the HF and RBF perhaps is that more base RBFs are being sold than HFs.
Or it could also be more larger HF are being sold than large RoBF. As you can see you cant tell much at all from it.
