You might want to try a BoF+AoL on the first minion (move one of the other two in front to have the archer be second or maybe even third) for not just extra hits, but also extra damage per hit.

Not to rain on your parade, but I think someone got 6 hits a few months back, and made a similar post with a copy of the fightlog.

And I remember responding to that thread saying that it's already been done and that I'd gotten 7...

Well if you look at it with numbers:

BTH 100
Max dex advantage 100
PTH on ELB 281
TOA extra PTH ~30

Total CTH = ~511

Or 5 hits with max dex advantage with 11% chance for a 6th.

In the last 3 rounds of missile only due to the hidden penalties we do not know exactly what they are in the first 3 rounds.

And in melee rounds the CTH is cut by 60%.

As someone stated, 281 PTH on an ELB is not cheap. The ELB itself is a 300M NW weapon.

And how much will it cost to truly advance any further? Forget a better chance at landing 6 hits... to have a 1% chance at 7, he'll need 90 more to-hit points. If we're just looking at the blacksmith's expense, how many millions will it cost?

The funniest thing in the entire thread, and a point you did not mention, is that you beat Vectoidz 100% of the time.

The fact he hits and hits you only helps you beat him due to your massive AS/GA.

When I fight Vectoidz, he hits my tank 2-3 times a round in missile and misses over 50% of the time in melee.
