''Can we get some sort of Tattoo Shop? ''

No.
Supply and demand.

BHT September 16 2009 10:01 PM EDT

You can't accurately use the term "supply and demand" when the supply is randomly generated at an inconsistent rate and the demand is always going to be through the roof. (especially with the TA)

Burton September 16 2009 10:24 PM EDT

Prices will always fluxuate.
I sold a ToA for 650k like 1.5 months ago, just found one and sold it for 225k.
It's ToA's time to be low and Halidon's time to be high.

Ya but should Mr. C be overbidding on already respectable offers?

recent RoBF:
ユ$868,219 Central Bank ( Mr. Chairman )
ユ$826,875 Ranger ( Heroes )

{Wookie}-Jir.Vr- September 16 2009 10:53 PM EDT

That's about 40% of the going price for a base RoBF... what's wrong with C's bid?

BHT September 17 2009 12:23 AM EDT

The thing is the Supply will constantly be decreasing faster then it is able to be replenished.

Rawr September 17 2009 12:25 AM EDT

well then theres the other end of the spectrum where there are too many tattoos so the base tattoos become worthless, which means changing tattoos (which is essentially changing strategies) becomes free, which is NOT good (or at least not wanted from what I can tell).

QBRanger September 17 2009 12:27 AM EDT

Well right now you have some base tattoos that are nearly worthless.

The ToE, IF and EF all fall in that category.

However, I am unclear on what a Tattoo Shop is, or how it would function.

AdminShade September 17 2009 1:26 AM EDT

Can we stop whining about high priced tattoos perhaps?

It is just a matter of supply and demand, there is a high demand with a low supply, therefore prices go up.

BootyGod September 17 2009 2:33 AM EDT

Or, you know, Blackmarket.

I just got a halidon for a cool 1 mil. A bit much, but a breeze compared to the other prices. And, just to be a jerk...

I tried it for about an hour, went meh, and went back to a SF. Haha. Eat it. 1 mil and a Halidon gone from the world! MUAHAHAHA

kevlar September 17 2009 2:40 AM EDT

Nothing is wrong with the bid, Jir... Mr. C is doing his job I guess, but if it is a question about supply and demand, then that bid doesn't help replenish the supply, it is just asking the price remain elevated. I'm not complaining, I'm just trying to understand it :)

Cube September 17 2009 12:30 PM EDT

I'd just try to get used to it because I'm pretty sure it's here to stay. I didn't like the idea of people easily massively changing strategy often for a fixed cost anyway.

QBRanger September 17 2009 12:41 PM EDT

Kevlar,

I know a lot of us are trying to understand Mr.C's place in CB.

However, there are good and bad sides of this feature.

It does help a lot especially if one is selling items.

Just look at MCMs lately. Without Mr.C, they would be nothing more than scrap metal. At least he pays 200k or more for them.
