Minor Bug with BoE (in General)

The BoE is not giving the full stated bonus to EDs. In the wiki it says "Secondary effect: Gives a flat 5% to Direct Damage Spells, Enchant Offense Spells and Enchant Defense Spells." However, when I was testing a few things I noticed it gave closer to 3-3.5% to Eds.

1st Enchanter: 2,032,479 / 1,967,550 should be around 2,065,927 with just BoE.

Not much of a difference but for 2nd Enchanter: 14,436,580 / 13,975,393 should be around 14,674,162.

Add those up and the loss comes out to be around 271,000 levels of AS. So factoring in 4 minions and my AoFs I am loosing out on ~522k points of health. Like I said, not major just annoying :).

Flat bonuses and penalties to magic are 100% for DD, 75% for EOs, and 66.7% for EDs.

Also,

The RoS addition to AS is not enhanced by items.

I knew that ranger, which is why I did not have the RoS equipped. However the thing about the flat bonus and penalty thing I had no clue. So does that mean if I wear something that gives me a 10% negative to EDs it will only act like a 6.6% negative?

No, if something is a 10% bonus to magic. It gives 10% bonus to DD, 7.5% bonus to EOs and 6.67% bonus for EDs.

Ohhh alright so that is why the wiki says Spellboosters "Gives a flat 3% bonus to Direct Damage Spells, 2.0% bonus to Enchant Defense Spells and 2.25% bonus to Enchant Offense Spells" and the BoE should also say something like 5% to DD, 3.75% to EO, and 3.3% to ED?

Indeed, and any item giving you a 10% penalty to magic will give -10% DD, -7.5% EO and -6.67% ED.
