Instead of using flash or other things, why don't we make YouTube like short videos with tutorials?
Someone had brought this up to me and I think it is very viable. Just record it, put 'scenes' behind each other ranging from basic fighting and training to forging and whatever more.
Have ideas? Show them!
Should be easy to make screen caps, could even include them in the presentation based tutorial

The idea for this however is, to remove the tutorial as it is now completely. Keep that in mind.
I think we still need some interactive walk through to start things off, but a series of videos linked in the wiki would be good.

That would be an outstanding idea.
That way they can actually see how to play as well as reading.

I agree with novice, nothing can help a clueless newbie more then an interactive walkthrough. The tutorial needs to be fixed and updated, thats all.
ya know, it'd also be a good way to draw new players. :)
They'd run across the video's surfing through youtube, and try out the game. Wether they stayed or not is a completely different story though.

Indeed, but at least there is an incentive to start ;)
