I was recently trying out an AoI and the minion started dying right off. Couldn't figure out why until viewed the battle log and it ends up that AoI isn't blocking SoD damage. I read the wiki and the SoD is not on the list that override invisibility.
"The following physical weapons override invisibility: Assassin's Crossbow, Enforcer's Crossbow, Mageseeker. This attribute makes using stat-draining crossbows once again viable."
Can this be fixed, or was the SoD intended to work also vs. an AoI?
The SoD won't target the minion with the AoI directly, but the blast that hits everyone will still hit him.

that makes sense if that is how it was intended, but was it?

I'm pretty sure that is supposed to be the way it is. I'll go edit the wiki to include SoD splash damage

hmmm should the wiki be updated based on 'pretty sure'?
SoD doesn't override invisibility. Invisibility just affects targeting, the SoD doesn't override that does it? No, it hits a visible minion (unless they all are invisible). AoI and SoD are both working as intended, and the wiki doesn't need edited.
As said above, this is intended. The AoI stops the minion wearing it being targetted fro the inital hit, but the 'splash' hits the entire team, regardless of visibility.

makes sense, thanks. I don't think it would hurt to mention that fact in the wiki would it under fun facts/strategy?

As it is a wiki, you can do it.

One more question, when saying unless they are all invisible, does that mean if you had an AoI on all minions non-stat draining bows/slings would just miss completely?

They would target the first minion if all minions wore an AoI.
