Wow, I'm impressed, when I started pressing the code, I couldn't help think, "Wow this isn't going to work, I'm going to look super nerdy and stupid for knowing this, the websites going to laugh at me..."

Then by the end of the code, I felt like a god.

I never used a cheat code while playing my video games.

Never got satisfaction from cheating. I guess I may have been the only one.

The first time I used the code was on the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles game for the first Nintendo console. I probably got most use out of it on Parodius though on the SNES.

Reminds me of Street Fighter 2 that came out back when I was 4.

It's not that its something everyone used OFTEN, just simply because it was always there.

Not to mention really really easy to memorize.

If you haven't cheated playing Gradius or Contra, you've never beaten said games. (Yes, I'm aware that there are HARD and EASY versions of said games, just assume I'm talking about the HARD ones.) :P

Oh come on Ranger - using the cheat codes on games is pretty much the same as using USD in this game. Gets you some places faster...

Never did use a cheat code.

At least until I got to Doom, on the computer.

But never on a console game.

:P You're missing out then, a lot of "cheats" are nothing more than things put in the game to make it more entertaining in some way... (Golden Eye anyone)

And some games are not meant to be beaten, the "cheats" are there so that you can see passed level 5, while the creators high five each other on their own genius.

Go play Ikaruga. You'll understand the value of a "cheat code" within 10 minutes I assure you.

Doom, haha which one? I miss those games, I've beaten them all, same with the Hexens, and a few other similar off titles.

A link to Adventure Quest Worlds is in the list, and I think thats awesome. I play Adventure Quest regularly still, and once I get to max level and beat all the Uber bosses, then, I'll switch to AQWorlds.
