The Coxsackie Virus, or Hand, Foot and Mouth disease (nothing like the animal version...).
I've got some tender blistrs on my hands (and a few on my toes), and some lesions around my mouth and nose.
My doctor asked for a second opinion, as she wanted to check a 33 year old could catch this, as it's usually only children.
But (especially as I work in a secondary school), as I'm still infectious while i've got the blisters, I'm taking a couple of days off until they clear up.
Claire wants to quarantine me away from Emma, but in all likely hood, she would have caught it already if she's going to.

Stay out of the forums, you don't want us lot to get it!
Some mild discomfort for a couple of days off work! Sounds like pure win to me!
It's self limiting, rarely causes complications and you don't take anything for it.
Man I have not heard about that since I was 6 years old!

Yeah, I don't think anyone is really surprised that GL has the mind and body of a child :P
