Let's see if it holds all those promises once it comes out.
And if/when it does, how does Apple respond, as you know they certainly will.

I caught that commercial in the middle the other day and thought it was a sci-fi movie preview, bummer. The only question I really have for it is,
will_it_blend?
Hmmm, looks good. I really hope it meets expectations, as much as I love apple products, I really think some real competition on the phone/MP3 player market would be quite healthy.

Competition is good, and as already mentioned it will be interesting to see Apple's response, or if Microsoft looks to mesh with that line of product somehow (if they aren't already talking with Verizon already) But by the pic Verifex posted, it looks more like a PDA than the Iphone does. Why doesn't HP/Compaq/Palm just add cell phone capability to their PDAs +/-shrink them? I like the appearance of the Iphone better at this point.
Yeah, you're right. The ipod does look slicker and seems still sounds more solid in features and services. Hopefully, we'll be pleasantly surprised by this Microsoft alternative though.

I seriously doubt Microsoft will have anything to do with this particular product (assuming this is about the Droid, YouTube is blocked at work for me)... The Droid is a Google/Motorola/Verizon offering running Android. MS has nothing to do with it on the hardware or software front...
Looks great to me, and I'm on Verizon, guess I'll get it in about three years when I can afford it XD.
sorry, its running WM6.5 my mistake
the start button might have been a clue Henk...
Honestly I have yet to be really impressed with the HTC android phones.
I think Motorola was smart to let Google dictate the specifications for this new phone... I can't wait to see what Google will offer to those of us stuck on Ma Bell's network.
