Ok I got the solution to all our grievances.
Everytime you get a bot check on the first try, your chance to get a random drop goes up by 1%.
When you do get a random drop it goes back down to the 0.00035% it's currently at.
Theoretically you would only have to deal with maybe 10 or so bot checks between drops instead of the 4 or 5 hundred.
How is this functionally different from increasing droprates fifty-fold?

Forget patches.
Get rid of the stupid system altogether and let us have our money back.

Hell, I'm fine with 20% less money, no drops at all, and macro-scripts leading the game if it means fewer bot checks. I honestly don't know how you cell phone players handle it.

First of all this would make drops more common, indeed, but this setup also makes it less random, and guarantees a drop after a certain amount of time. This may be good or bad, I'm not sure, its all how you look at it. I assume it is NOT how Jon wanted it though, he seems to enjoy randomness.
Example:
I have gotten more then a dozen botchecks in a full batch of BA, on more then one occasion.
That's a 12% increase with only 160 battles?
At that rate you'd have a 100% chance of a drop at what 1400 battles? (rough estimate)
That means I would be getting a drop every 2-3 days, MUCH MUCH higher rate then what I have currently (2 in last 2 months)
Capping the chance increase would be wise, say at 33%?
Note: I'm not agreeing with you at all, simply brainstorming upon your idea.
Botcheck Bonuses are not the best fix for this issue...
Wraithlin: Good idea. I would prefer the Drops to only take say 5-10% of my Cash rewards since the overall drop rate sucks. Even with your implementation no more than 5-10%. Jon has given the Stipulations that on your Chance to get the drop you must be the Attacker and Win the fight so your actual chance is much lower than you might think.
Demi: It does suck but not so much as most might think, most cell phones that can handle CB have screen Area Enlargement Programs built in via Touch and Tap or Stylus :-D
I still think the 20% less cash was going to happen with or without the drop system and Jon implemented it to disguise this and/or as a way to subdue and angry mob. Still does not matter greatly to me as everyone has the same disadvantage. That is only what I think :-)
Not everyone has the same disadvantage; some people get lucky and make out not so bad in comparison, others are out 20% of their cash.

this fails because if you have a 1 person fightlist and just keep fighting you'll get botchecks even if the person is comatose
Unfortunately, this would be too easily abused.
Better fix would easily be to remove the system or make the money reduction around 10%.
