Leadership (in General)

So I cant tell if its working, is it really working?

Currently, I have a what should be a 25% boost to str, and 25 to + but it doesn't seem to be working at all.
I still miss a lot of ranged, and melee hits, and when I compare several battles against the same person I get the same damage with or without the leadership.

Confused can someone confirm its working?

When does your first minion die?

First,

25% boost to strength will likely make a noticeable difference in damage that one can quantitate unless you look at a lot of battle and calculate the damage over a largish sample size.

Second,

Leadership only works as long as the minion using those items is alive. Once that minion dies, you lose that benefit.

Third,

Your BL is likely based upon your current strength. However if you get +25% strength from leadership, your BL may be less than full effect. So the benefit of more strength may be countered by the lack of BL skill for that extra strength. That may not matter on the PTH side of things but....

Second minnion dies before the first almost every battle, and my damage is small atm so there isn't room for large differences and my BL is not working atm because I'm using a base weapon and haven't fully trained the skill yet "it does around 300-600 damage". Just comparing SoD damage because it does the most.

Was gonna ask about BL too if Leadership makes it so BL doesn't work fully if it was trained to str correctly.

If you have your BL trained exactly at the ST you have before combat, then your Leadership will increase your ST and make your BL have less bonus.

25% more ST lets you deal around 9% more damage



Say your ST is 50k and your BL is trained to 12.5 for full effect. (0.75)
Leadership will increase your ST to 62.5 in which your BL will be 0.6.
Through this you will lose some 15% damage.

The total effect would be that you lose some 6% of damage. Training BL
up to match the right ST will increase it.

I'm fairly certain that BL effect is calculated pre Leadership, and that Leadership ST doesn't lower BL effect.

Both archery and BL are calculated using leaderships bonus to strength.

So the results show that for about 20mil you can increase damage output by 4% Yay fail.

The hits results are not conclusive ignore that.

There was a past post where I believe it was me who asked that question and was told specifically it was based upon the strength you had at the time.

Analogous to having GS on your character.

20 mil of what? You are using a puny character...

what do you mean? percentages are percentages. They dont increase just because the damage is at a larger scale.

Upgrade Leadership maybe? Increase strength + 1% to + 3%. Also add + to bl and archery skills, to make it so you don't have to train extra XP over.

LOl I just realized how weak this item is for melee. Instead of adding directly to damage like how it does for casters.

You mind finding me that post Ranger?
