Moderator? (in General)

Hey guys,names Ryan. I recently saw a post over at mmorpg.com(a site that I'm very active at) about carnageblender.com looking for a good moderator. The post says,"post a thread in our forums about your RP experience and qualifications." It doesn't specify exactly where in the forums to post so,I apologize if this is the wrong spot.

My Role Playing Experience

I've been playing RPG'S for years and years. I don't know why but,they have always appealed to my taste as to what a game should be,to sum it up in one word,freedom. RPG'S let you escape from real life for as long as you want,which is what makes them so great. I've played just about every type and genre of RPG out there. Things like,text and browser based games such as,Rule The Seas and Fallen Sword. All the way up to major MMORPG'S like,World Of WarCraft,Aion and EverQuest. I've even been apart of a few MUDS. Overall,I have a ton of Role Playing experience under my belt and I'd love to get carnage blender under there as well.

My Qualifications

As I said above I've been playing RPG'S for a very long time, As the saying goes,"along with time comes wisdom". That being said,I have a ton of "RPG wisdom",I know what it takes to make a successful RPG and I know how to make a good RPG even better. I've worked on a few little RPG'S over time but,thats because,I never really tried to go major about it,until now. I'm a hard worker,very creative,a skilled writer,intelligent,loyal,just about everything a good moderator is. Also,I have a lot of free time so dedication would not be an issue. I'm sorry but,I have no idea who or what verifex is. Also,The way you posted it came across as you were a current moderator or admin recruiting for new moderators for CB. I guess I just wasted my time writing all that up then.

This is a community-based game though. Many of the ideas laid in place by the devs are their unique twist on user-given ideas. With your experiences, you may find that you've been duped into the ultimate passtime. The Blender is awesome. Give it a try ~_^

While I appreciate your post and your thoroughness, we generally don't give people those positions until they've been around the game quite a bit. You're very welcome to become a part of the community, however, and in time we may select you for such a role.

I'm sure you can understand, having been around so many games, that it wouldn't be a good idea to hand out those roles to people who are unfamiliar with the game and the culture here.

As for Verifex, he's another Admin here who runs CyberGen games for people. You can send him an in-game chatmail.

Anyway, if you are serious about wanting to contribute to our site given your qualifications, we are very open to help and suggestions. I would encourage you to learn what this game is all about, and I look forward to your potential feedback.

Yea I completely understand NightStrike. and disregard the previous post,I wrote it before i got a chance to read your reply. I will deffinently let you know if I come up with any ideas or find any bugs in the game. Thanks for the time though.
