(CB related) name for Female Drow Bard (in Contests)

AdminShade December 29 2009 11:26 AM EST

I'm playing DDO and I will soon create a Female Drow Elven Bard.
The subclass will be Virtuoso of the Sword.

Problem: I don't have a name, yet.
Solution: let people from CB figure out a name.
Restriction: the DDO server has to 'eat' the name (i.e. not be taken yet)
Incentive: Prize will be $50k, up to $250k if it's really good.
Possible bonus: I'd like it to have something to do with CB.
Possible bonus: If you can mix in anything in Romanian or Hungarian, be welcome to do so.

Szalonnaszelet a keverogep

Hungarian for Bard of the blender.
I tried Romanian but that just sucked :P

Sickone December 30 2009 7:29 PM EST

all from Romanian...

1. Spadasina Melodioasa (actually the last character is "ã", not sure how it would display normally here)
Rough translation (a bit of wordplay going on, tougher to exlain) "Well-sung Sword Mistress" or "well-singing swordswoman" (the second word can be taken as referring to the quality of the songs played by the person or to the actual person instead, a bit of a stretch, but still)

2. Lama Cantatoare (first "a" of the second word is actually a "â", again not sure how that displays to you, a similar but different character from the one above)
Rough translation "The Singing Blade". Pretty straightforward.

3. Solista Fatala (actually "Fatalã")
Roughly translated as "the lethal solo singer".

Thanks for all the replies so far.

I've chosen something completely different though. I had a talk with a friend of mine who lives in Romania. She had a nice idea.

The name will be Pupici Noapte Buna, which translates to kisses, sleep well. ^_^

I'll still browse through entries for the best one(s) though!
