New bonus system.. (in General)

I remember a few weeks ago in chat nightstrike or someone mentioned work on a new bonus system. This system was meant to be out before the end of the 2009 year, and well we're 12 days into 2010.. What happened with that?

i seem to remember the statement being that he hoped to have it by year's end but would get it done when he got it done. ; )

I'm sure it's not been forgotten, but NS has a lot on his plate atm. What with this, the Tourny changes mentioned in the other thread, and more.

Personally, I think we should shift changemonths, so December isn't one any more.

Shift changemonths to what it was before. Needed changes take place whenever. No time scale to do anything in. I think having a set month for changes is stupid. Just promotes pressure and unnecessary changes just because it's a changemonth.

New bonus system? Do want ! :>

Remember, while this is going to be a change, not all change is good or liked by everyone.

If anyone who posted above dislikes the change, I will be sure to refer to your "O this will be great" post above :)

I would preemptively like to point out that this change will clearly be to Todd's unfair advantage.

IMO, this change will be done to favor those using USD.

I kinda wish we knew more about it rather then, BAM!! New bonus system adapt to it or else!!!

I think it was a joke, just like the Todd remark.

IMO, change is bad.

I would like to say,
I understand those who are being cautious and reminding us that change can be bad as well as good. However, I'd be hard pressed to imagine a system as bad as the N*B. I'd more look forward to to something that has a chance at being much better than sticking with the same old crap we have now.

I do not think the new "bonus system" will be to change the NUB or for new players.

I think it will be more for how the current challenge bonuses are figured. Perhaps with or without excempted BA regeneration zones.

i don't think it was a replacement for the n*b either. what i seem to remember was in a thread regarding the disposability of characters and having to basically throw an older character away to create a ncb as the only alternative for existing players to compete at the top.

iirc, he stated that he was working on something to address that issue and hoped to be done by year's end. i have tried to find that thread though with no luck.

anyone remember that to which i refer? ; )
