My Log out is on two
separate lines.
Firefox 3.5.7
Old laptop with 1024x768 max resolution however.. :(
1280x1024 Firefox latest version and I get Log Out on two lines as well.
My log out is spread over 2 lines as well. There's something better than FireFox?

Having 2 lines gives you twice the chance to hit the log out button.
Is not twice the ability better?
filthy braggarts! i still do not even have a log out option. ; (

Aren't we all?
My log ou is like Shade's. But, on my phone the left frame still takes up like 3/4s of my screen.
Well, I thought it was only IE that was borked, since chrome worked. So I guess Chrome/Safari users are ok..........
I'll make the div a few pixels wider, though.

much better, thank you.
You'll need to do Ctrl-Refresh if your browser is caching the CSS.
Much prettier, thank you.
Yep, now its all fitting on 1 line.
this is what my left tab looks like:

Hardly an emergency, but still on two lines for me.
Definitely due to the resolution of this laptop (max 1024x768) as it works perfectly well on my other one at 1920x1080 and indeed lower.
refreshed a bunch of times and its still 2 lines for me as well no big deal just isn't aesthetically pleasing
edy: clear all of your browser history.
Resolution shouldn't affect anything because the sidebar is fixed width. Try clearing all caches to fix the two-line problem.

bump & question: will this be fixed or is this a non existing issue?
On my Firefox (last version) it displays as:
Help! Home Settings Log
out

On IE, where I work it displays normally on one line.

It's fine on my Firefox now, Shade. Also latest version.

Bizarrely enough it's ok for me now.
Sometimes it's hard to get FF to clear stuff out.
holding down shift when clicking refresh this frame *SHOULD* force it to check for updated content

On a side note, it also works on old IE ;p
still looks like this for me

Ed: try holding down shift while you right click and select refresh this frame
no difference at all still, looks bad
Are you still supposed to be allowed to resize it manually?

Mine is the same where the "out" of Log out is below Help! Rereshing doesn't help.
hasn't been resizable on FF for a long time
Ah cool! I just did by accident, and wondered wether it was supposed to be of fixed width now. ;)
I've got a problem with the sidebar tonight, donno if it's something at my end. All the links at the top are squashed together, and when I try to hover over anything, it brings up scroll bars and resizes itself. :/
LoL! Scratch that, somehow my IE had managed to fail and resize everything. ;)
Resizing the sidebar has been allowed for a very long time.
still looks like this for me

Edyit, given that you and kevlar are the only people with a problem, I'm leaning towards settings on your side. I checked it in IE7,IE8,FF, and chrome
will ctrl - shrink it make it go to one line for you two?
odd NS, since it displays it that way on both my home and work comp, it's really no big deal, just looks kinda funny.

I don't know what settings we are missing? The only thing that 'fixes' it is if I set the page zoom to 99%, but even that much is hard on my eyes, because I'm so used to the current format.
Are you guys using larger fonts?
kevlar
January 26 2010 8:25 PM EST
I went through all the font sizes, ends up it only effects the text that is displayed in the drop down boxes. My font is set to medium though.
nope, all default settings here

Shoot. I meant to verify this today, but I forgot. The text line appears perfectly fine on my home monitor (1680x1050) using Firefox, and it appears fine on the crappy unknown-resolution CRT in my office using IE. However, as of a week ago, I was having the same text wrapping problem on my work laptop using IE.

I'm just confused, if people are now having a problem with the change, why can't it be reversed until the fix can be made for all? Or is CB now a cell phone priority game? ...
kevlar, why would you say something like that? Think logically about it. If 99% of CB was able to clear their cache and have it work, and you and edyit are the only ones where it doesn't work.... what do you expect? If you can't get your browser to get new CSS files, then nothing I change will matter.

I don't know. That wasn't a good thing to say. Just stinks being on the short end of the stick with this change. My bad. I just have always despised Windows Vista... always, and can't afford to go to Win 7. I 99.9999% believe Vista is the reason behind the problem, like any problem that I have had on this computer. An uncalled vent, I apologize. It would be nice to find a way to get those CSS files updated that you mention. It's strange, I just can not adjust to the 99% zoom. I'm one that if something is broke, I like to fix it. And when I can't, it's frustrating. NS if anything I hope you know I am a huge fan of all the work you do for the game, I'll go bury my head in the sand for a while.
kevlar:
I can tell you that right now, I am posting from a Vista machine running IE8 at a resolution of 1024x768 (I swear I don't usually use that resolution! Honest!) There's no issues at all.
Post a screenshot of your situation. Maybe I'll notice something out of whack.

Was something adjusted lately? I haven't done anything since the last post, but the Log out is appropriately placed now.
