So... I just had about as bad of a day at work as I'd care to imagine.
As some of you know I work in hospitality. I had a gentleman show up today looking for his wife as he was concerned and she had a history of depression.
Since I was the highest ranking staffer around I had to go check her room...
... yeah, as badly as that could have gone was how it went. There's no point to checking a pulse when rigor has clearly set in.
So I had to keep people out of the room until officials (police/paramedics) arrived and tell the husband (and 10yr old son) that they couldn't come to the room.... and not mention why.
So yeah... damn.
Just letting it out, thanks guys.
Ouch, you guys who work in health care do one hell of a tough job.
Major respect for that.

Wow. Ooh..
After the second sentence, I was going to come in with a "oh yeah! try working in tech support!" gag, but bloody hell. You have any story I could possible tell beat. By a mile.
I'll drink a shot for you tonight.

And there it was. A toast to Loch recovering his sanity after such an awful day. Good luck man.
Well sorry for your day loch....think of it this way....tomorrow is for sure going to be better.

Well I'm back at work...
... first thing I see is a note saying the family will be by to pick up the belongings from the room...
~sigh~
Not looking forward to that.
Well that sucks bro. I am sorry you had to go through that situation. Been there myself so I can sympathize. Not in a Hotel but finding a person gone is finding a person gone.
Chin up bro it's all you can do.

Hard to find the words. It must be a terrible experience. It is only human and understandable to feel bad about it. Am sure you'll get over it mate.
