My faith in humanity went into the negatives.
Are you serious?!)!
See this is one of the reasons all of my friends call before they come and call again when they are in my driveway. I have a 45 in a compartment by my door which I get before I answer the door in case of psycos like this. It's a shame that the world has degraded to this point :-/

Eh, I don't think video games have anything to do with it, that guy was just a nutcase to start with. There's always a couple
That being said, I don't feel the need to answer my door with a gun in hand, -that- is scary

It depends on where you live. Try living in Detroit.
Really?? He only got two years?
i wonder if it was a diablo character...

The article clearly said in the first paragraph. Counter-Strike.

Counter-Strike... /facepalm

I have a feeling the Counter Strike killing ended with a good ol' fashioned tea bagging, as is becoming standard procedure in those games.
Last Download, I saw a guy spark out (possibly from drink, but could have been exposure, or a number of other things...) suffer among other offenses, a real life tea-bagging...
CS is the only game I never get frustrated when playing, even in clan matches... I don't understand how people get this wrapped up in games. You lose a clan match and everyone still says 'GG' at the end of the map.
I know there are ways for people to find others over the interwebs, one of my buddies i play with on 360 has this thing to where, if people talk on a mic, it registers what IP the person talking is coming from.
Still, scary to think that one of the guys you killed yesterday in MW2 10 times in a row might be at your door the next day.
But I like how CS has been around for 10+ years, and now, just because one guy kills someone who killed him in the game, it's the games fault...

I always enjoyed CS. Never felt the need to actually plunge a knife into someones chest though.
Zen: You answer the door with a gun. Now that is pretty worrying.. :P

No where in the article does it say someone was killed except for online. He was stabbed 1 inch away from his heart. The man was given grievous assault charges not murder charges. Just wanted to clear that up for everyone.

Stay away GL... ;)
Crazy people are crazy people - they're in every genre. Gamers, people going to bars/clubs, athletes, religious groups - there are going to be extremists in every category or genre.

Oh yea, he must've used the slash instead of the stab, plus he probably didn't go for the back, if he 'stab'bed him in the back, 1 hit Ko.

Yeah, commview's just a download a way. Anyone who wants it can get it.

I'm more worried about Zenai.
Don't ANYONE attack
Winner of Nothing or I might just go crazy on you!
Heroes defeated Winner of Nothing after 3 rounds of combat
Ft. Lauderdale! BRING IT!!! =-O
psssssshhhhh...Everyone knows you run faster with a knife equipped!
I answer the door with a crowbar....your door!
Zen: You answer the door with a gun. Now that is pretty worrying.. :P
When you have had friends that have been shot in the face through a peephole by "Mistake" you tend to prepare. On that matter I have a periscoped peephole just because of that.
I'm more worried about Zenai.
No need to be Flamey as long as you don't come to my house and attempt to attack my family.
Just dont answer your door. Works for me. :P

I once punched my brother in the head while playing Blades of Steel... he was using the stupid 'pass into the net' trick and I had told him not to!
