I don't see the humor in that game Ankou. I SEE what it is you are trying to show and I find it to be offensive. At the minimum its NOT funny.

I found it amusing that someone inadvertently designed the game in a manner where it formed that symbol. How is it offensive merely to see the symbol?

i dunno. maybe its not. I just get heated seeing it. I got nothing. its still not funny to me.

One cannot reasonably assume that a Swastika in the form of a toy is funny. I find it revolting that anyone would find nazism a laughing matter. but maybe its like I said. its probably hypersensitivity.

I stared at the pic for far too long trying to see the "fail." It wasn't until I read DH's angry post that I caught it.

And I have to agree with OB. It's a bad design, not an intentional offense. It's not offensive to acknowledge that it exists.

The design element (stupid phrase but whatever) isn't the same thing as the symbol... heck even the symbol gets used all over the world with no reference to the national socialists of old.

It's like folks getting uppity about the use of the word holocaust. The word existed prior to the event, It's not like it just stopped having any other meaning.

point taken. the Swastika was in use as a symbol for many other things before it was a symbol of Nazism. However most people would not know about the symbol had it not been for that time period in which it was used. as for the word holocaust...same deal. would most people of average intelligence even know what that word meant had it not been for the actual event?

Honestly. I already said maybe I was hypersensitive. why are we flogging me for having an opinion on what offends ME. I'm entitled to be offended by whatever I want.

I thought I'd try it, backlash or not. I found it amusing not that it displayed a symbol associated with a terrible time in history, but that the company who designed it failed to recognize this fact. Sorry for offending you.

Man breaking horses brings back some memories.

The last horse I sold some years back was a young thoroughbred I got off the track that could do 2 things: run and run &^%$% fast. Turned him into a good little jumper and the family that bought him are happy.

Don't think I can take that kind of punishment anymore haha

When I say terrified, I mean it. I'm scared of miniature horses and Shetland ponies for goodness sakes...

When I was nine on the same day I got thrown off and landed on my head (one of several quality concussions as a child) and watched my childhood crush kicked in the chest and bounced off the metal fencing. I'm pretty sure I can live my whole life without playing cowboy, thank you very much.
