If you just want to see the accident, skip to 3:45. His father is driving the car. Sad thing is, the moderator says "What's the feeling if your own son runs towards your driving car." Just before the accident.

They woke him up from comatose today. Still no word on his status.

Found a site that linked to a youtube video showing him clipping the top of the car and landing very badly. This whole scenario was just very bad, and to top it off, his father was driving the last car. Hope he survives.

@Shade: I heard it on the radio, most stations had a quick broadcast. After all "Wetten dass?" is the most watched program.

In the media there's a debate now whether the "hunt for viewing figures" is to blame for the accident. Funny, as most of the media will happily screen any idiot trying to destroy his (social) life, as can be seen on the various casting shows.

He barely made the first one, aborted the second why did they even let him try the third? True accidents happen but that one was clearly gonna happen if they let it continue.

All in the name of entertainment huh?

Reminds me of a book I read called "The Running Man"...some famous writer Named Stephen King. Not a bad quick read actually.

I don't mean to rock the boat or anything but severe injury's are PG and allowed in forums? Made me queasy and almost offended I could understand how it might be bad for someone far younger.

IMO it's worse then a simple swear.

I've done that plenty of times, except I went higher, did more flips, and landed in water xD
