rules for ref to other games ? (in General)

can i pay ppl to use my ref link and play an other game ?? or would that be against the rules ?

In the way past that was not allowed. The reason way to prevent people from spamming the forums with posts as you suggest.

It was very bad at one time that over 1/2 the posts were referrals to other games.

Now? I think an admin needs to chime in. But I have not yet read of anything that officially changed that policy.

You can post the link and give them your ref in CMs... they have to ask for your ref though

so.. i can make a wtb post.. saying that i would like ppl to play this game and ill pay em to get to a certain point in the game via my ref. and then when they reply via cm i can give out my link ?

In the past we indeed have had some problems with people spamming those ref links. But in a WTB thread, it's ok :)
