Yeah. If that offer had gone through, and all the CBD donations had been bid on, and all those bidding had actually paid, we would have raised easily over $1000 this year :) so there was plenty of potential. The money's still there for next year, though, so hopefully whoever picks it up after me will have an easy time of it on their first go around.

Why can't people who would like to buy CBD with USD from this fund still buy it?....or does This charity only take money once a year?

In the interest of not mixing my money up with CB's donations, I would have to seal off my PayPal from my own personal use if we wanted to do that. I already remove any outstanding cash amount and refrain from personal use of my paypal once a year; keeping it like that is something I'm not particularly interested in.

Unless your suggestion is simply sending in the donation each person sends every time, which is entirely possible, but would mean no lump sum donation labeled as being from the CB community. It would all appear as if it came from (whoever is doing the Charity.)

I have no idea. When I took over doing the Child's Play, I simply started reserving my own paypal during the months that I was doing it for that purpose.

Um...clarify what you mean? We ran the Child's Play charity this year. >.>
The economy happened NS. Usually I donate $100 + but I was unable to do so because of particularly nasty bills. Rates have gone up and the ability to save cash went down. Aside from this it was done before Income Tax Season which for me is the easiest time frame to donate cashola.
