MPB for SoD (in General)

I reset my MPB.

Now it reads about 1.8M using a SoD.

But here:

Ichi's explosive shot hit Kano-san [1382657], The Showgirl [417446], Dolly's Twin [414750], Mrs. County, eventually [359102], Big Smith's Ex [361129]

Should not the MPB be inclusive of all the damage done to all minions? Which in this hit would be 2,935,084.

The reason I ask is that with my ELB at the same NW the MPB was 3.2M. I would like to be able to compare damages and total SoD damage is appropriate.

Or am I jumping the shark on this one?

I agree it should be, I think I brought this up about a year and a half ago, and Jon said something along the lines of "no." But, I am probably making that memory up, as it was like a year and a half ago.

Aren't those separate hits in effect? They take GA return individually and are against different minions.

True, each is subject to separate GA. But it is from 1 sources.

That's do to the way GA works, it doesn't even matter how many hits it is Nat, GA returns 60% of damage done to a minion if it's under the required amount. Dude, it's not called MPBperMinion.

if i swing a baseball bat though and hit three people with it, that's three blows. one blow could break a leg, one a nose and the other a hand. three separate blows with one swing. that is the way i always understood the underlying grammar of violence! ; )

i would love to see a most powerful attack stat though, the more stats the merrier, but would really like to see all damage involved if we make any changes as well.

My thoughts run along the same lines as dude in this.

i think, the total is just a "attack", which deals Multiple Blows.

I'd like to see the summed up totals for the SoD counted somewhere, Highest Damage Total? I couldn't think of anything better right now. I'd also like to see a DD type MPB, that accounts for total FB/CoC splash damage as well. It'd be nice to see the total amount of damage the splash damage types do.

Slightly related, this is making me wish I didn't accidentally erase my MPB of 13.9m, I loved that hit :(

See, when I think of hitting three people with a baseball bat, I think of it as one blow, which hit three people, b/c I didn't swing 3 times. (Why are you hitting people with a baseball bat dude, you've got a sick mind.)
