Certainly they help, yes.
Do they prevent the 1 hit = all drain, certainly no?
However, not everyone in CB can afford a pair of 101 or higher DBs.
The DBs I am loaning out may or may not help vs the exbow that Areo and others are using.
It is the dex CTH that can get you, given the 1 hit = complete strength loss most characters experience.
It is the binary nature and the trying to prevent all hits that I hate about this item.
