What fantastic vampire movie did I just watch? (in Contests)

Nope so far.

This is not a very well known film and was excellent in its deception of a world post a vampire endemic.

Omega Man.

Daybreakers, but that one had a wide release not too long back, so doesn't qualify as lesser known.

This was also The Last Man on Earth. These two along with I Am Legend are essentially the same story, re-made with different titles.

Pretty much every time I'm ready to respond LB has already taken my guesses.

I Am Legend would have been my post apocalyptic one but since you said not well know I was gonna go The Omega Man for the same reason LB explained.

There's also Stake Land.

Never seen it but was told to watch it.

BTW: Had a few plot holes, but it was a great depiction of how vampires would be and how society would react. Take Zombieland and make it real without the comedy.

Unfortunately there are very few post-apocalyptic vampire movies. Too easy of a clue. :/

It allowed me to remember the movie Stake Land though so thanks for that. Completely forgot about it and never added it to my netflix queue. I love well done post-apocalyptic.
