The low game is awesome now! (in General)

A massive, massive thank you to 'tash! Seriously, this single act has increased my enjoyment of CB immensely!

The low game used to be a struggle. And a bore. Not only with every BA counting for so much, and having to update your fightlist nearly every fight, but with Tournaments draining the score from low inactive teams, it wasn't enjoyable trying to fight, let alone fight up, through it.

There were teams 1M in MPR with 250K scores. There's no way fighting up you'd ever be able to beat teams like that. And even though the T Score drain was fixed, nothing was done to give this drained score back.

Well, I'm over the moon to say that (and I must have missed this when it happened!) after noticing some very small teams with very high scores, I found out this was all down to 'tash and a couple of weeks work from her!

Fighting and playing the low game is so much more enjoyable now. It's fun again! :D

And anyone, if you're considering starting a new bonus run, now's the time to do so!

Before I drain all this excess score out of the system myself! :P

I have plans to replace it if the need ever arises. She hit a ton of people though and most of the scores should stay rather high for some time.

I will say I was against what Nat did. Manipulating the game.

But now, I am not so sure I am completely against it. If it makes people happier lower down, it cannot be all that bad.

it helps tons for your NCB through the first stages but, and im not totally against helping the lower people, like myself, but it _IS_ manipulating the game..

It's not.

It's putting right the massive problem the introduction of Tournaments created (which went unnoticed, and even unfixed for ages).

Now, if it was something done in an effort to boost a specific new bonus users run, I'd consider that as manipulation of the game.

Just as bad as gimping a high level charcater for them to beat on during wacky XP time.

Oh, and instead of CB putting right the problem it created, it took a user to take their time and effort to do so.
