CB going down laggin bad (in General)

As the title says, I keep having problems, CB refuses to load for like 5-10mins sometimes, and then magically comes back, its not my browser. its not my internet. is anyone else having these problems?

It's working for me. Just pretend we're blacking out CB for the PIPA/SOPA protest. lol

Not having any problems, try doing traceroute when having an issue to find your problem

I have had a couple times of severe lag but nothing persistent.

its working fine right now.. it was working fine when i posted this thread, but for like 5minutes prior i couldn't get cb to load for the life of me.

clear cache and cookies

my browser auto does it when i close it... honestly like i said its not my browser or my internet. not to sound rude but im not an idiot, i know how to maintain my pc.

If it's only you and nobody else, then what's so unique about your connection? Where in the world are you playing from?

dude its not my connection, i use multiple tabs all the time, and never have a problems, its weird, when it happens, im not saying im special or anything.. seriously its weird.. like i can be trying to get into cb for 5mins but if i open a tab and hit google or youtube or yahoo or whatever it loads instantly. i've tried extra cache flushes, restarting the browser clearing my history passwords everything.. it just happens sometimes and i can't figure out why. im using chrome not sure if that makes a difference, im new to chrome, usually use IE.

Try going back to IE for awhile and see if the problem still persists?

Sure it isn't, but what IF it is? I mean everyone else is able to access it just normally, what makes your connection to CB so unique that CB does not allow you to connect?

see im not crazy, im not an idiot, and i dont' think i have special connection to cb.. or the internet.

im really quiet pissed at shade.. i mean everyone in this thread seemed to be trying to help and a couple people even said they experience it too its periodic, yet and ADMIN has to be a jerk and have sarcastic comments and offer no help at all.

Im not the only one to complain about that either.

its not that it was bad, its that he is being a jerk for no reason, he knows damn well it has nothing to do with were i live, and he knnows damn well my connection isn't unique. everyone else, no, Goku said hes had problems, ranger said hes had lag. his posts were useless and offered no help. he didn't need to post that stuff

and jerk might not be the correct word but i can't say the bottom of ones back, and saying hes being a smart butt makes no sense but you get my point.

Until after his posts no one else had reported having any issues. At that point I had been assuming it was something on or close to your end, since no one else seemed to be having issues.

It's a logical assumption given the evidence at had. You have to remember that he doesn't really know you or your computer skills so you have no reason to be offended by such an assumption as you seem to be.

Yeah, and he probably missed Ranger saying he was having problems as I initially did myself.

Im not really offended just making a point. His responses makes me think that he assumes I have no idea how to use a computer. okay maybe thats exaggerated a bit. but honestly assumptions make an 'butt' out of you and me. they were not helpful and not needed.

regardless the problem hasn't happened again today, but I will run a trace and post the results next time it happens.
