100th Weapon has Arrived (in Changelog)

The Chakram:

This is a rear-attacking ranged weapon that does not ignore invisibility. All the other fun stuff is there to figure out.
Edit: The subclass of the Chakram is now "thrown" instead of "sling".

I spawned it early. I probably should have lowered the BM auction time, too. I also should have sent some to auctions. I was trying to keep them rare :)

Oh and Novice you need to do a tourney dedicated to it now, especially so I, or anyone else for that matter, can start updating the wiki with all the info on it.

This community is voracious so keeping anything rare will be difficult. I think the route you are going right now is perfect. So far there are only two in existence, Pit_Spawn has the Prototype and Auctions has the very first one ever spawned. I think possibly a Tournament with one as a prize would be an cool thing to do as well. Let the community come together and spawn them from the BM for a few months then I would add it to the Auction Spawn list or add it to the Special Items list.

Nah, that was me triggering a new blackmarket auction incorrectly. That item will die eventually through the normal channels.

Will someone please add Chakram to the dictionary?

I'm not up to snuff on adding info to thw wiki, but someone can add that it fires in all melee rounds, not every other round.

added chakram to the list of range weapons in the wiki, updated the chakram page with base nw, upgrade cost for 'x' and a blank '+' table for someone to fill in.

I'm surprised no one's honed in the forging time. Someone with a Chakram may want to lend it to a forger just to solve the puzzle. Also, it's still not in the dictionary.

Yeah, I'm not sure how that whole forging stuff works, so I just completely made up ad hoc numbers for those entries in the database. It'll probably have to be tuned.

^_^ a Chakram Sling... *reveils the missing part of the SLING of the Chakram... a piece of NS's soul* ^_^ There, the SLING of Chakram is done.... =3 Why in kitteh's green heaven would you make it into a sling category, when it is clearly a throwing weapon? =3 Clearly it does deserve its own category... or did CB suddenly throw the weapon detail accuracy out the window when I wasn't looking? Phantom, SoC works with any weapon, but it only specifically activates its special abilities with Hammer weapons, and UC. Now back to my point. A Chakram is a THROWing disk with NO other component that would qualify it as a sling. ^_^

If we don't want more Thrown Weapons, how about a Soft Weapon that is ranged and boosted by UC in some way. I'm thinking a Meteor Hammer.

How about hurling insults that cause your opponents to go into a blind rage and miss more often. :)
