Windows 7 64 bit.
I mostly do it for performance, although I usually only play casually on it. When it's time to get serious I boot up to windows xp on my SSD and overclock like a mother for gaming.

I use the changing background so it scrolls through about 10 of my most favorite pictures. ^_^
Keep it simple I say, also my taskbar hides itself. >_>
