How do you rate CB's Community? (in General)

Please post a number between 1 - 10 and a small explanation (a paragraph will do!)

I Just wanted to pick you brains folks!

Depends on the Conversation honestly.

About the game? I'd say an 8 or a 9.

We can generally work out issues and see ways to improve the game. We're very able-minded in terms of resolving any game play exploits or things that could be considered abusive in terms of the entire game.

On everything else? Between a 3 and a 6, depending on the topic.

When not talking about the game, we are all very different people. Not only in terms of personality and life experiences, but in terms of monetary wealth and stance on life goals. This causes us to enter into easily explosive conversations where we, and pardon my american here, treat each other like sh!t rather quickly.

Atleast, thats my opinion.

Also, clan combat related topics, even if strictly game related, those can get ugly pretty fast too.

when chat goes active, its fun. otherwise it's only discussions about random adult things that I don't understand :|

chat 0 because nothing is going on when Im on chat.

forums 7 because there are great threads and some not so great

cm 7 same, there are good talks and then there is hate.

The community itself as a whole, or the current active community?

I guess you could rate either separately or both as a whole. In this instance you can definitely answer in whatever way makes you feel comfortable Xeno. Some have changed the format a bit anyway.

NA for chat as i keep it turned off
6 for forums but thats more for entertainment (i hardly bother posting)
7 for CM's as i have the occassional natter when i play via a pc
7 for clan mail to as its nice to remind everyone how much i rock

overall a 5 for me - CB community is what you put into it (so a 5 is me) but its nice to know others put a lot in a get a lot out of it

4, although I don't actually play, i log in from time to time to look at the forums.

Most of the time its just petty arguments, people trying to get the 1 up on player they don't like.

Too many chief (wannabes) and not enough indians.

Having experienced the community at its peak I would say that it is currently at a 2. Part of that is a lack of players and the rest is likely a lack of new things to talk about.

At its peak I'd give it a 9 personally. Plenty of friendly people to talk to, chat was always active, competition in the upper ranks and even the lower ranks was more.. competitive, all in all the community was what brought me back and kept me playing during my grueling 6 month NCB run for Priest of Rathma, and this was only a few years ago for me.

Right now, I'd give it about a 2 due to sheer lack of what seems like a community right now. The forums are hardly active and I havent seen anyone in chat in months (exception being Brotherhood chat, which has also been lackluster as of late) I love the people, but the community as a whole seems to be on an extended break. Myself included.

I'd have to agree a 2 - 4 on most days at best...but this is all about getting out what you put in we all know that. We need to get this player base motivated again and I am open to any suggestions. But the quality and personalities we have here is great we just need to get moving.

I would give a 10 in the height of CB. Much better then many other communities I have been in. I mean we started doing Childs Play Donation drives before even PAX and other people were doing it. We had some amazing photoshop contests that attracted some of the most amazing entries. We had very talented people from all walks of life here to talk to and converse with in Chat. We are currently experiencing a lull I believe though, something I believe can only be solved by more development into CB.

I'm sad because I don't have any other place to talk to cool people that I like talking to besides here, and I feel sad that it seems like it's unraveling before my eyes, and all these cool people are off playing their own games now and everyone is drifting apart. I've been trying to keep in touch with people here and there on Facebook, but it's not quite the same. I want to do more development, but it is difficult to find the time. I look forward to more suggestion threads and the more detailed the better. That helps build new fancy things.

This is still one of my favorite communities, even years later.
