Nice and permissible are two different things. My vote is that it does fall well within the allowable borders. Though obviously not an admin, I view this as less than telling someone to "go to hell," which I think should warrant reprimand.

OP: i see this as a take it the way you want. there is no act or movement implied with 2 middle fingers. either you are #1 twice over or just #2, and if thats the case. I want to know WHO DOES NUMBER 2 WORK FOR!!?

Really you don't remember eh? Well your CM's did as I copied and pasted them to NS as I got them from you and he confirmed via the system. Even after this happened you said "I never said that." and threw a tempter tantrum.

In an attempt to placate you I said ok I'll give Horror back in exchange for the Xfer Fees and the Cost of the Item Upgrades which I saw as only fair. Another Temper Tantrum. You have serious Issues Ranger that you should see a professional about. This is why I got the Admins involved over the entire subject because you have a spotty memory on things you say. I had proof of what you said and it was confirmed as legitimate. Hence why the char is still in my possession.

So go back to the shadows where you said you would stay Ranger unless you are proving yourself to be a LIAR yet again.

Your intention started out honorable and respectable. I would have been inclined to simply give Horror back to you if it had stayed that way ya know it's not like I haven't thrown money into the game for others before. However it turned into the worst thing that I could have expected from you Ranger. This is why I exempted you from the Raffle with both Middle Fingers. Even in the face of a reprimand and being forum/site banned I would do it. Even on my deathbed I would continue to do it until the day I perished. Agreed Kef but CB has been toxic for a long time though. The reason it shows up so well now is because there is so few people playing and even fewer posting. No worries in less than a month CB will be one person less.

Ehhhh it's always possible. I have enjoyed playing with the people I consider a friend or respectable rival. I just feel the cons outweigh the pros for me at this point. If that can be construed as gamers remorse then you are right.

AoD can't as Admins would have cleaned it up. They are deleting whole posts or changing words and not even leaving the [Admin Edit] anymore so that is a moot suggestion. I've no idea what words were being editted without notification (which is usually just a courtesy anyway, as we all know non PG words shouldn't be used, at all. And expecting them to go way should be, well, expected. Without justification.), and since I was made an Admin I've deleted exactly three posts (I've closed more).

Whenever I use any of my admin powers I've kept a very detailed log for audit and training. Apart from unretire requests, which are just noted in the PR thread.

I've tried to stear clear of this, as to not unintentionally pour water on the oil, and haven't locked this thread as sometimes venting isn't necessarily a bad thing.

I'm of little doubt that an admin will step in, if things continue to degrade. But it's damned if we do, and damned if we don't.

Too much moderation and we're taking away 'free speech' or abusing our admin powers. Too little and we're not doing our jobs, being hypocritical, and well 'look at the state of the forums/chat'.

I'd be far happier if I never had to use my admin powers. If I never had to close a thread, or edit out an unpg word. If I never had to investigate a potential Multi, or fine a user.

Hopefully I won't have to any time soon.

Over all it's things like this that has made me want to leave. Really it's a combination of things but this is one of them in the bunch. Eh it is what it is I guess.

The biggest one for me is lack of updates. The game has gotten stale.

One day soon we will all attempt to log back in and will not be able without warning but at the root of the cause will be our combined lack of effort to resolve differences, communicate with each other and individual effort. Say what you want but it is coming. I do not make this statement lightly, I like so many have tried but I think in the end it will not be enough.
