Return of the King, because of the huge and cool fights. but Fellowship as second :)

Two Towers was by far the best, better fight scenes, more interesting bits, no need for explanation and unlike the other 2 the ending wasn't completely stupid, pointless or baffling.

O.o Frodo's change month?

-- SBW

never heard of frodo's changing month, whats that?
Long live the only not boring Two Towers!!

-- Achertontus

Frodo's change-month adventure was May. I think everyone here starred. :D

-- Mags

It would have been RoTK if it hadn't been for the overwhelming amount of Hollywood schmaltz added to it (I give you Sam's painful delivery of the "I can't carry it but I can carry you" line as a perfect example) So I voted TTT

-- Trillian

eh

i have only seen 1 and 2 so I did 2 >.>

No Ralph Bakshi option?

(yeah, I wouldn't have voted for it, either).

-- Thraklight Resonance

All very good!

All were good, but hte first one was a bit slow to start. Other two were brilliant! Return of the king is slightly in the lead though!

No Animated?

I like the animated Hobbit movie, that one ruled.

I voted for Fellowship though, because I almost cried at how perfect the first 20 or so minutes of that movie are.

The Two Towers was perfect.

Mushu's One-Ring Adventure

Why is that not an option, the one where Mushu take the One-Ring and throws it into the fiery depths of mordor

-- 5583 days old {Gaza}

:S

I still have yet to see any of them. :P

Theatrical or Extended version?

Do the extra/changed scenes make a difference?

-- bartjan

Extended versions!

I have seen the theatrical first, then the extended. And then the theatrical again, and it really felt like there was something missing. Of course, if you didn't like the "short" ones, you won't like the extended ones either ;)

-- mihalis

No option for the Lord of the Rings cartoon? C'mon, the live action movies didn't have the vibrato classic "Frodo of the Nine Fingers"! This poll is a sham!

-- Xanthochroid

Fellowship: okay introduction, not that exciting. Decent.
TTT: Freaking amazing, by far the best of the series. Sweet battles, good pacing -- extended far better than the theatrical, by way of including a bunch of segments that really added to it.
RotK: Worst disappointment since I met my online girlfriend and it turned out to be a guy. Okay, that never happened, but if it did, it would've been about as disappointing. Terrible movie -- cheesy special effects, the worst pacing I've ever seen, a ridiculously bad climactic battle (I could do better with miniatures and a webcam), terrible acting, most of the good parts from the book completely gone (Gandalf vs Saruman, Gandalf vs Witch King, Scouring, etc), and those that were left utterly defiled. And the ending! Half an hour of hugs! Geez... I'm AWARE that Tolkein's ending was long, but he included at least SOME action in it... Jackson removed all the good stuff and left the boring bits.

Argh... such a bad movie... burn it! Burn it all!

but TTT was amazing. :)
