Not sure, but I wish we had some more "things to do" in CB instead of just more items. Although that is just me. ;)

-- AdminQBVerifex

I agree with verifex, although I dont know what those things could be.

About Right

we get enough supporter items at the current rate. dont flood us with them please!

-- drudge

About Right

I like it

-- BMWheatley

Too slow.

I really want to see all the CB1 Supporter Items. Where are the SoDs? The HoFs? The GoPs? The IAs?

Non-CB1ers: SoD= Sling of David
HoF= Hauberk of Finrod
GoP= Glaive of Pain
IA= Inexhaustible Arrows

-- Goodfish

Quality over Quantity

I voted (for) too slow, but I don't want the easy solution to speed it up ;)

-- bartjan

more than supporter items

i agree with verifex But more non-supporter item should be added more often but but i voted (for) about right. Just need more regular items Which will put moe strategy in the game and with verifex's idea itll put even thatll be interesting

-- (MES)Naruto

I think a lot of people think they want to see more supporter items, but they dont. what they want to see is change: something that will shake up the blend a little. Right now, Supporter items are really the only thing we have to look forward to.

About Right, on the 'items are created too fast' side

New items need not be introduced all the time, but new ideas should always be welcomed. I like the suggestion I heard somewhere about quests, where you recieve a CM or alert telling you to beat someone around your score, or go find a specific non-rare and return it to them ('them' being the system) in order to recieve a reward of exp or $$

-- th00p

stuff

Liquid armour next new item? I'd like to see an area?where you could go ( troll forrest?)where you could win against trolls etc.get exp. items maybe money. mostly luck on the stuff ya get though.

-- Slashundhack

More stuff

Oh ya almost forgot. Anyway to have pictures of the stuff and what they do all in hard copy could pay extra on joining to get.It would sure help with my retention!!!!

-- Slashundhack

About right

Although, you could always bring them out two at a time and only allow us to buy one per user account :)

-- AdminG Beee

I'd like to see supporter items help people on the way up, rather than be used as balancing items. I guess that is the basic difference between cb1 style supporter items and what we've been given here. The VB, and MgS are direct counters to standard strats, seemingly all the way up to the top.

-- AdminQBnovice

Re: CyBorgin

Dont forget about the Carp!

-- Miandrital

More Options

we should get a bank like CB1, and maybe like a casino or what not to gamble a bit =D

-- [cb1]Lord-Vex

The pace had been perfect, until the TSA, which we had for 4 or 5 months...
2-3 months per item is good.

-- Maelstrom

I agree, something new, more than just more supporter items (though making sure a new one comes out within 3 months would be nice, unlike the TSA).

How about a new theme engine with more themes? =P

The amulets did "shake things up" a bit, and that's what I like. I have yet to find pants in the store. I'm still wanting some more mage-enhancing items, to make mages spend more money yet have enough of a chance to get to the top as a tank does.

-- QBPixel Sage

pants of extreme virtue...
can't be worn with any other item, but the user gains
a +20 unnamed bonus to charisma, and can never take them off.

-- AdminQBnovice

2 S_L_O_W

the above summs that up

-- ScY

About Right

I think we have to have a little time to work them into new strats, if they came out as a flood then I don't think we would have as much innovation in strats...

-- GnuUzir

the items that make everyone mix up their strats a bit are good cause it makes the game more interesting

-- {Quitter}Gah

no problem with it

Feels just about right.

Though the normal items deserve a change imwho.

-- AdminShade

I agree with Verifex too. But for me, that 'thing' was camping. :(
Forging barely pulls in cash, much less holding anybody's interest.

-- Karmic Mishap

About Right

Faster would throw the game out of balance by having too many special or powerful items (however you see them), cause the game to move up too quicklyu and become unbalanced
Slower would leave more to be desired - changes bring excitement are more reason to play when the same old fight list begins to become to repitive, also supporter items give more thoughts to strats instead of the lets fight and see if i win strat

that was my .000002cents (not worth much, but take it as is)

-- Mandy

Good meter

I like the pace the supporter items are being created at.
My only comment would be to make a special period (perhaps a week) during the quarter (a randomly chosen period?) that supporters and supporters only can purchase any single ONE of the past supporter items.
Brainstorm this however you like. I think its a brilliant idea. ps- The idea of quests and stuff makes me ill. This is NOT an action adventure or an RPG. This is an arena deathmatch style tactical / small unit game. Quests would detract from the very quintessence of this gaming format, and bog it down with unneccessary nonsense. /end opnion

More Of Everything

I Think More supporter item's should be created, but at the same time every once and awhile a supporter item should turn non-supporter.

-- amphibia

More innaccurate items than slow/fast

So far, there has only really been one item that followed the mantra of what a supporter item is supposed to be: The Rune of Enlightenment. That is, it's an item that is very useful in the beginning, but must be phased out over time. The RoE is absolutely perfect for this. Contrast that with the Mage Shield, which is vital for any tank at any level. Contrast it to the Vorpal Blade, which is still used as one of the 4 plausible melee weapon choices available to any sized tank. Or, again, the TSA falls into the same category as the mage shield. The JKF and AoI are also both seen used at increasingly higher levels. The RoE is the only supporter item that runs out of usefulness as MPR increases and the need for a replacement with a normal item (tattoo, in this case) becomes paramount.

-- AdminNightStrike

stuff again?

O.K. Nobody seemed to like the troll fighting Idea . That gambling idea I liked, but nixed due to the kids. But horse racing is the sport of kings how about buying, training, racing & breeding. Have them die to .All though that would need anouther system I guess a well wouldhave been Neat..

-- Slashundhack

A new supporter item idea.

Instead of having 1 supporter item, let people have to choose between 2.

Player A chooses item 1, but cannot buy item 2 from supportership.
Player B chooses item 2, but cannot buy item 1 from supportership.

Player A (or B) _can_ buy item 1 (or 2) from player B (or A) however.

This forces people to choose more instead of a complete mass buying the supporter item.

-- AdminShade

It's a neat idea Shade, but that would give USD spenders even more of an edge, since only they would be able to buy up all of the new items...

-- Maelstrom

TOJ is a classic supporter item.

I disagree with Nightstrike. The JKF is a perfect supporter item. At lower levels it is very powerful and helps team grow. However as a character gets higher MPR, the JKF is quickly overpowered by high level FB/MM/COC and decent level weapons. At a certain level, it is best to change your JKF to another tattoo for the mid and later stages of the game. Those who still use the JKF at high levels, have a specific idea/strat at what they are doing or are just stubborn to see how high they can get a JKF.

-- QBRanger

Clarification

All I said regarding the JKF and AOI is that they are also seen at higher levels. The main focus of my post was that the RoE is an almost perfect supporter item, while the Mage Shield is practically the worst. I hope that clears up my comment.

-- AdminNightStrike

supporter item?

Hopefully nobody thinks this is dumb idea, but on F.Fox the throbber can be changed. So how about one of the wizs puts swirly as the throbber and here:ieCB2 ,as the address.I imagine I.E. could be massaged as well.I've seen destuctions on the net on how to do it but i'm afraid of a rain of death if I try it.Besides it would be better if you could download something.
And how about haveing something that forgers "only" could make or modify maybe the wizards staff? I know you say thats stupid but something anyway.

-- Slashundhack

Slashundhack please use some coherent english next time.

-- Miandrital

English?

Which brand ?Don't see a Y'all in the bunch! There , hows that? The rest of the colour stays though. If it still isn,t clear enough tell me what part of the english teacher you want me to swallow.

-- Slashundhack

Fix the silly supporter items we have first.
