Take a look at Mastodont's purchase and transfer logs, very interesting. Especially that only 1 person got all that great stuff.

I think someone higher up, like an Admin or Jon needs to do some checking as to if this is a dirty contest. IE a way for a multi to transfer items among his accounts.

Items going to one of the few who did not offer to share the wealth. Of the 4 who did not offer to share, I personally do know 2 of the 4 and they would have.

The speed of the contest.

The sheer amount of value of the items just given away.

The transfer and purchase logs of Mastodont, that is emptyness.

Why were all items given to one camper rather than 1 item to each person?

All these are honest questions that need honest answers. No accusations but just many questions.

what happen with the sharing

mastadont was a camper in the early days. since these messages appear to be going to him still if he could get on and tell everyone that i did not cheat i would appreciate it.

I think Mastodont did a very cool blastoff..(always make a good outry, if the entry wasn't loud enough). If I were to quit, and putting my stuff on lottery, all would definitly go to the same person.

Also.. what on earth would he win on sending all his stuff away in a "fixed" lottery????
If he wanted Megaman to get them, he could just have sent them directly, (like MrChuckles did to me)....

Majestik, Ranger is saying he made up this contest to send the items to MegamanV with out getting caught. A direct one sided transfer of this much could get him busted. Seeing as these items are over 150 USD it is odd to me that he never really did anything but camp. He didn't sell, or really fight, or trade or buy. He was absent in the economy, he just camped and then gave it away.

I do not think you see my point.. anyhow, I'm a very bad loser, and I recognize how we usually do after losing something :).

I understand your point correctly.

Just too many strange things occurred and someone I don't know won the whole kit and kaboodle, whereas I knew everyone else in the "contest".

Personally I don't feel I lost something since I did not pay to play in the contest and really did not expect to win. People may think its sour grapes on my part, but its really not.

I just want to know if the contest was truely on the up and up. If it was, then I owe MegaMan an apology and will be the first to give it.

Of course I must repress that backdraw, with something...
I most often get over my backdraws within 15 minutes or something.

I'm with Ranger on this one.

There are just too many oddities on this one.

1. Two guys who I've never heard of are both online at the same time for the contest. (disclaimer: There are more people I do not know than people I do know here in CB2)
2. Buddy just gives away over $200 US worth of stuff in a heartbeat. Yes, he said online that he has no paypal. But, unless I was going to be out of the country for the next 6 months, I would wait a week in order to get $200 US in the mail.
3. The receiver of the goods seems to know an aweful lot about the guy giving out the stuff.
4. Camping, only to give away stuff for free is the oddest behaviour.

Perhaps it's because I was admin in CB1 and saw my fair share of cheating, so I am naturally suspiscious.

what do i know about mastadont other than that he camped?

he still has enough items to send to the people that would have shared the items with everyone alse, and still be able to keep the Morg for himself....

Thing I don't understand is what Masta's actual role in the game was. His character is small, his tattoo is barely used. It seems all this character did was camp in the past, and then make this contest now, giving all stuff to one lucky winner, who wouldn't share the goods. I Mean this does look extremely dodgy, can't an admin look deeper into this, like very deep.

I mean, he hasn't got the time to camp anymore? He hasnt camped in months for a start, he hasn't done anything. Campers usually camp to gain profit from it. He camped, sold some gear, marginally upped his gear, done nothing for a few months and then gave it all away. Im sorry this as dodgy as it gets.

There can be something fishy going on without implicating Megaman.

I don't want you to think that I am branding you a multi, I was just pointing out the facts. It could all be coincidence, but it does just look odd that someone would not enjoy talking to anybody, trading, or selling. He just camped a few rares and gave them away. Doesn't sound like much of a game to me.

Sefton camps so he can get cb2 for his character, but most campers sell for usd.

Megaman you can't go slamming other people, even you have to agree it is suspicious. If it was anyone else that got over 200 USD worth of items, you would think differently.

He didn't have a character above 10k MPR, so it wasn't that....=/

And from the looks of this giveaway he had plenty of items to start an awesome char. Knowing he didn't have paypal.

I did say one explanation is that you could be a multi. But there are others as well.

was it that way when chuckles did the same thing? he held no contest he just gave Moose alot of great stuff. i'm happy for Moose and i think chuckles had the coolest send off ever.

While I agree that Mastodont's contest was a little odd, it's not that strange, if he's in Sweden then selling the items for real money is a headache, and if he doesn't want to play anymore, he has no interest in starting an awesome character. I know everyone's feeling a little hurt and rejected that he doesn't want to play CB anymore, but that's no reason to take it out on MegamanV.

Also, as further proof that they're not in cahoots, who competes with their own multi in a bidding war?

i know megaman pretty good, and i never heard of the other guy, but i do know megaman isn't a multi or a cheater.

megaman has plenty of rare items now and had a boat load in the past. he's a camper/ need to make a real minion and join my clan.

but he's a good guy. and been around a long time. the other guy, i never heard of him before til now.

Yes innocent till proven guilty, but sometimes an investigation does need to occur to show there is no guilt.

All I did was say there are some very suspicious things going on with this contest, the way it was done and the results. I wanted someone higher up to check into things. Obviously Im not an admin and admins have powers that I do not.

As you can see, I am not alone in my questions.

I agree Ranger but there's no better Admin for looking at this kind of thing than Bart and he's already replied.

Yes I joined the contest and i found it too bad that i didn't win.

I have known Mastodont from CB1 when he had an amazing Gekko outfit for his character.

As bartjan said the 2 people live in very different parts of the world, America and Sweden.
