armor change part 1 (in Changelog)
removed TSA; owners were compensated with CB's best guess at market value (estimated from auctions)
armor granting DX (EB, EG, EC) get 1% dx per enchantment point. AC is still
granted. EG's magic bonus removed.
armor granting ST (BoM, HG, TG) get 1% st per enchantment point. AC is still
granted. BoM changed to Power Shield; HG base to 4 (was 5) and gets 1.5 UC points per enchantment.
ToA no longer grants displacement; instead, grants 50% chance of extra hit
per round (melee + ranged). This is subject to negation by evasion.
Update unequipped BoMs that were equipped on a minion with a tattoo.
Update 2 ToA to-hit bonus now correctly takes appropriate penalty when using ranged weapon during melee rounds.

Those who want to make tanks should buy up the items needed now, rather than when the market is charging crap loads.
I certainly hope this cuts down on the complaint threads created by tank owners.
Maybe the bonus isn't showing on the page, but I equipped my +11 BoM on my minion with about 42k str, and I only got about 400 or so extra strength. Is this a bug, or does it simply not show the extra 4000 or so strength I should have?

I have TG +9 and 26,000 str.
str is now 26,344/26,044 which is 1%
How does the enchantment point +9 factor in?

TSA removal is a good thing. We still got the Adam and MC for tanks. we'll see if those get changed in Part 2.

The change from 5 to 4 on my HG's isn't showing up, I have tried training and unequipping and re-equipping them. Just a note.

One question about the ToA change
Is the 50% chance to hit added with the dx/weapons hits (ie treated exactly as a +50 to the weapons) or is it a 50% chance after dx and weapon hits are finished?

HG's are now reflecting recent change, problem fixed.
GRR, I was forging my Helm's Gloves, and suddenly the RPM reduced to 20% from 70% :(

CBF right now only return once per round per character that attack no matter how many times that character hit the cbf wearer.

BoM is now a power shield, cannot have a power shield and tattoo on one minion.

Lukey, no they didn't, because they weren't deleted. It's very uncommen that people get ANY kind of refund for an item being "tweaked" and in this case I think EG's didn't really even get nerfed, just tweaked...and for those who were using them for their Dex they got a boost from this change.

While the EG's 2% magic increase loss is bad, the 1% dex per + possibly makes up for it in value.
I said possibly since there are TG and BG which tanks use also. But the EG value should not plummet to the ground.

- Does BoM still give more ST when having 1 handed melee weapon equiped as opposed to 2 handed melee weapon?
- "AC is still" Does that mean no further AC enchantments or does it mean that AC still gets counted?
- 50% chance to extra hit just means +50 to ranged and melee weapon? doe this apply also for UC?
- BoM still for sale from store / black market?
shade, why wouldn't BoMs be in stores or BM? they're still not supporter items.

Tried to equip a BoM before I read the changelog and didn't get any warning about unequipping a tattoo - have these been removed or was the unequipping penalty switched off for the change only?

I'm also wondeirng something. With the HG and any other str giving item. Does the bonus to str only work with direct trained str or does gs get the bonus.
Example . I have a 4 uc strat with no trained dx or str. it all comes with gs and haste. If I were to equip HG's and the new HoE would i get the bonus to str on what my str is with gs or would it just be off the base 20 since I haven't put any exp into it. Thanks Jon for an answer to this because it will help me decide if I have to change my thinking on my strategy right away.
Cylo, Bonuses from armour have always gone off natural STR/DEX, not what GS/Haste/ToA give.
