Admin Bashing seems rife (in General)

People; the admin bashing over doing their jobs needs to stop.
They make decisions based on facts that we can't see; it's not our fault we can't see the proof of someone being a multi; we don't need to see the proof; we just need to trust that Jon and his team of Admins/Sub-Admins are doing their job properly.
For the people who think that admins should have to have concrete proof about a multi... that's probably impossible unless admins can see into our homes/offices etc. Trust the fact that Jon and the admins know what they are doing!
You may disagree about someone getting reset/banned/fined; you could try and politely ask the admin via chatmail why someone got punished; they will have their reasons (everything has to be able to be explained to Jon anyway)
After seeing the work MrsDi put in as an admin near the end of 2004; she was a great example of an admin who was doing her job; but she was taken to by people who couldn't see her reasons for punishing people... it didn't matter; Jon knew everytime that she was doing the right thing. But because of the publicity; she was less willing to join cb2... we don't want or need to lose another great admin

well said

Most often, we _do_ have concrete proof, but we prefer not to reveal too much about our detection methods. It should be obvious why.

The only time we'll give our proof is when it's really blatantly obvious.

I have two kids so I'm well used to dealing with tantrums and hearing, "It wasn't me it was her !"

Nice to know someone appreciates us though :)

PS. Who says we can't see into your home/office...

what, admins have feelings too?

NSFY September 14 2005 3:10 PM EDT

Must be stealth bashing.

{CB1ate}aupStar September 14 2005 9:27 PM EDT

I'm sorry you feel that way Gaza. I doubt you can consider what I did as being "admin bashing". I never insulted anyone. I just stood up for a friend that I thought was treated unfairly. I'm sure you'd do the same if you were in the same situation. It's what friends do...=)

P.S. I liked Mrs Di a loot...^_^ She was the best admin ever! Although, I don't remember what was going on to make her not join CB2...=/ Wonder where she is now...o_O

Maulaxe, I didn't know they had feelings either. I always thought they were heartless robotic tyrants. But hey, you learn something new everyday.
Look, heres the thing, YES its fun to bash admins. Rising up against power has a certain self satisfaction that we all enjoy, but 99% of the time they are right and just doing their job. Sorry Aup but you have no argument. Rules are Rules.

I think it's funny that I wake up to the same argument and the same people that were on this subject last night.

[T]Vestax September 14 2005 10:00 PM EDT

who are you calling robotic?

AdminQBGentlemanLoser [{END}] September 15 2005 3:18 AM EDT

Hmmm... The Vestax 2000 Bot seem to be leaking a little oil....

*Tightens a couple of nuts*
