I'll be writing this down as an alternative definition for irony.

Especially since it has more proof of being a multi than any of Inferno's posts (which simply had shared IPs) - this one has an account with all score 0 characters, 1 sided transfers, AND the shared IP.

Eh.. He told me to start this game before he quit, since I do like RPG games.. Well he said he would tell me how to play is i promised to atleast play for a week, and he gave me that stuff to start with lol, Well are families are close, we share Internet through 'My Network Places'. He said he might come back some time after Christmas which is a long time, if u want I could get him to explain this situation..

Have You Ever Heard Of Something Called Brothers? Gatekeeper Is My Big Brother. Right Now I'm At My Grandparents Next Weekend I Go To My Moms So I Will Have 3 IP's If I Make Another Account On Any Of Those Ban Me And I Will Understand But Not Because My Big Brother Played On The Same Game At The Same House. Happy? No I Suppose Your Not Your Never Happy Are You Ppl? You Always Have To Pick On The New Players For Things They Know Nothing About If I'd Have Known Having A Brother On The Same Game I Never Would Have Joined. But What Happened Happened And I Cant Change That. I Never Knew Having A Big Brother On The Same Game Was Illegal.

If i may interject. The idea of having your brother aide you in starting this game would still be considered agianst the transfer rules for the same IP's. I've looked into this as Rey wanted to know if she could help me start off. Which the answer was no. If the shoe that fits this situation does not warrent higher investigation then the idea of say a loved one be it girlfriend, boyfriend, brother, sister, mother, or father that would play this game then decide to leave and pass on their legacy to their next of kin as it were would stipulate that if the third party in Rey and my relationship wanted to play her and I could quit and pass everything both of us have onto her. Would that not be a violation of the rules and ethics of the same IP restrictions. Now mind you i am not berating you inferno as being Rey and me were apart of your Multi hunt but i do believe that in any system of government as you so went about earlier this would be a prosecutable offence... To my knowledge this would be considered Laundering. just my 2 cents.

if inferno and evolution are really different people then have them both online at the same time in different rooms, different people in those rooms ask them questions at same time and see if they respond quickly, if there is a pause or a bit of wait time then that means it is only one person who is moving from comp to comp.

Tormentor : The problem is, Evolution already quit, it's almost impossible to get him back online. Last logged in 17 August.

Wasp : Where's the problem ? Evo joined in March, with the NUB he managed to get Death Spawn (his first character) to biggest 5 MPR or something, sold the character, messing around, selling this and that. Quit in August because his NUB has expired, suddenly someone from the same IP who claimed to be his cousin/friend in one house/ghost/other personality start at the same day with a fresh NUB.

This is hilarious, i will let a full admin check it out for sure.

No, 'TheEvolution' (not supposed to use real names) suggested this game to me in June I didn't feel like it because I was already playing a few RPGs. His parents said he'll be back tonight, so he should be able to explain this, and get rid of this mess.

Same IP, and transfer to and from using two different accounts. It's not suspicious at all. Plain and simple.

What's wrong with that he gave me some stuff to start with. Sorry about the IP part, I was new to the game he knows alot about PCs I don't, I didn't know that any of this crap would happen. Since I have nothing to lose ban me, even though I only have this account!

Nothing wrong with helping a friend out, but the fact you're using the same PC kicks up the dust of suspicion.

So how did it happen, you were at the one comp, you made an account, then logged out, then he logged on and sent you a little gift? See, even it was completely in good nature, and you are completely innocent, you can see why the folks aren't completely convinced.

I remember once someone asked to be banned, funny enough, iirc, he was.

We have the same internet same IP, I link to his Internet through 'My Network Places'. I didn't know we had same IP 'till now. He sent that stuff from his PC, but he helped me on my PC, meaning he helped me how to train, like that stuff.

If Inferno means that they both live in the same house, and share the same internet connection then ummm sure, unless he lives like half a block down the street, I can see no reasonable explination for having the same IP (even across the street would seem kinda silly too run an internet connection threw a firewall from one house to anouther)

From the rules that I have read is that is perfictly OK if they are a supporter, and they both supporters, so where's the problem?

Supporters do not have special privileges to brake the rules that others have to follow. Plus two accounts with supportership is neither proof that they are played by two separate individuals nor is it okay for two supporters to make one way transfers under the same IP. Just stating the rules.

This is open to abuse since it's so easy to create new user accounts. Creating multiple user accounts is illegal, but rather than make that process more onerous for legitimate new users (such as by email verification, which in any case is trivial to spoof), we've chosen as the most foolproof method to additionally limit fighting on an IP address basis for non-Supporters. This means that if you're behind a firewall that makes multiple computers appear to share the same IP, your fights will conflict with others from behind your firewall.

Creating multiple user accounts is illegal, so being banned and making a new account is making multiple user accounts. and thus illegal.

The supporter and non-supporter difference is only important if two accounts _legally_ being used behind the same IP are fighting at the same time. This does not grant you the right to _illegally_ be a multi just because you have supportership on one or both accounts.

KMFDM is not German Industrial Rubbish, it's bad [non-pg] German Industrial.

And, comming from someone who shared a house with a friend of the same age both net geeks and both on the same IP: having a bands character pic be the same band means nothing.

If 2 guys living on under the same roof both find out together they like KMFDM, I could so see them going "Okay, I'll take this album art, you take another one. Use them on our characters so we don't look like posers. God this stuff rocks!"
