Things to do when CB1 is dead (in Off-topic)

I'm trying to find things to do while cb1 is down, mostly to keep me from borking up my finely *chortle* tuned *snicker* cb2 char. Suggestions are welcome, as I almost just spent 50k cb2 renting stuff to keep me entertained. It'd be fun to do, if I didn't know I'd watch my pr fly up and my rewards go down....please help.

* Laugh at Cb2
* Go surf the web for some joke website for a good laugh
* Play...other..games?
* Run around screaming
* Hit something that makes a really loud noise

* Create a new CB2 account (You need something to do while BA reloads on main account)
* Spam Chat with "Bring back CB1" over and over again.
* Send Jon several thousand CM and e-mails asking him to fix CB1 first.
* Spam the forums.
* Send a letter to the White House stating you will harm George W if Jon doesn't fix CB1.

Oh wait a minute those are things NOT to do.

Making new threads its fun. Might also get CB1 up quicker. CB2 is such a... drag? I mean, After the festivities have passed, late night christmas day is boring... but hell, not boring enough to play cb2... Don't be silly. Whens CB1 being fixed? ETA would be good.

When it is done, that is about the time it will come back up.

Maybe its just me, but is it a select few people that play CB1 still that are complaining really loud? Why are you people playing CB1 still? CB1 Chat has a total of maybe 6 or 7 people in it at all times. Can you even think about giving CB2 a chance? Come on !

I like cb2, bad mouthing it probably won't help our case, even if it does have some especially baffling aspects to it. CB1 has it's problems (ELB, CoBF, CF bug, and on and on), but at least there you can't run a single mage up to a mil score with only 300k HP(ok maybe you could, but you sure as heck couldn't fight 3 point clan members with it).

You could, if you get really bored go read my concert reviews on MIMF..Its a Dutch Run site.. if you are not into Dutch Pipe Organ Recital Reviews or Classical Music, you may have a hard time finding it..What the hell is a pipe organ? Thats what I thought...

Things you can do with absolutely nothing

THINGS YOU CAN DO WITH ABSOLUTELY NOTHING

Push your eyes for interesting light show
(Amusement Potential: 1-5 minutes)
See a variety of blobs, stars and flashes. Try to make out things your subconscious is trying to send you a message? Can you control what you see by pressing different areas with different forces? Would it be possible to somehow see the same effects on TV?

See how long you can hold your breath
(Amusement Potential: 4-20 minutes)
Not that much fun, but it sure passes the time. Play with a friend, or try to beat your own personal best. Some tips: hyperventilate before hand, and stay as still as possible. My personal best is 2:00 (exactly).

Try to not think about penguins
(Amusement Potential: 1-5 minutes)
This is especially hard, because by trying too much, you remember what you were trying to avoid thinking of. If you try too little, you end up thinking about penguins anyway.

Use your secret mind power
(Amusement Potential: 5-10 minutes)
Pick a passing by and try to use your mind power to command them do something, like drop their bag or knock into someone. The law of averages dictates that sooner or later one of your mind commands will come true, so you can convince yourself that you really have super human powers and waste even more time trying them out.

Scratch yourself
(Amusement Potential: 1-3 minutes)
Go ahead, scratch yourself now. Even if nothing itches, go ahead. Doesn't that feel pretty good?

Repeat the same word over and over until it loses its meaning
(Amusement Potential: 1-3 minutes)
Pick a random word out of a magazine and say it aloud to yourself until it becomes a meaningless set of noises.

Hurt yourself
(Amusement Potential: 1-3 minutes)
What is pain? Why is it unpleasant? There's nothing physical about it - it's all in your mind. Plus, after pinching yourself for awhile, boredom will seem nice next to being in pain.

Try to swallow your tongue
(Amusement Potential: 1-3 minutes)
There's not much to say about this one. It is possible.

Pretend to be a car
(Amusement Potential: 1-3 minutes)
Make appropriate revving noises in your head as you walk along and add a racing commentary as you pass strangers in the street. Use blinking eyes as indicators for extra authenticity.

Look at something for awhile, shut eyes, study after image
(Amusement Potential: 2-5 minutes)
Another great time waster. It takes about 30 seconds of staring to create an after image, and the image is then viewable for about the same length of time. Fun to combine this one with pushing on your eyes.

Get yourself as nauseated as possible
(Amusement Potential: 5-10 minutes)
Best achieved by looking straight up and spinning around. Try to be so dizzy you can't even stand up. This is also entertaining due to the "makes boredom seem a lot better"

that should keep you busy for some time.

Ah well, at least CB1 isn't full of weird people who feel they must voice *their* opinion in every matter! Heres where I would normally start a personal attack or 2, but... to be honest, thats not worth my time : ). only the 170 people or so left who play CB1. Seems most of the others would rather see it die. I would actually prefer jon just tells us if he's ever planning on fixing it.

I am beginning to think of cb1 as a rather long and involved Beta test of the cb generator/program.

Now that cb2 is on its way, the beta is no longer needed.

Personally, I have just about given up on cb1. If it comes up, great, but if not, then time for everyone to move on.

That is why it would be nice if Jon would just come out and tell us if CB1 is gone so we can get on with your lifes.( At least those of us who may have lifes) ;)

yeah, some form of official statement whether or not cb1 is ever coming back online would be nice.
If you ask me, jon knows that there's a posibility that a number of us will quit playing cb all together.
Just maybe he cares enough for that not to happen?
Either way, ANY form of official statement about cb1 would be appreciated.

I find it really confusing that it's possible this move was made to prevent further money exchange between cb's, when $US buying is all the rage...please clue me in...
