CB2 575 II (in Contests)

Anybody remember thisCB2 Haiku/Senryu Contest?

It was so much fun, let's do it again!

Following traditional Haiku/Senryu (check the link above for definitions in that thread) rules of 3 lines, 5 syllables/7syllables/5syllables, write me a Haiku or Senryu about a fellow CBer! You can choose anyone.

The usual rules:

1. Be nice! Well, a little ribbing in good fun is okay. Just don't be cruel or malicious.
2. PG people!
3. Multiple entries are allowed
4. Deadline is noon (server time) a week from Saturday (June 17th)

1st prize will be a set of item namings!
I haven't decided on 2nd or 3rd yet, but ya'll know me - they'll be fabulous! :P

Well, it's a writing contest, so I'm contractually obliged to enter. But I'm not very good at these. Still, it's Friday, the World Cup starts today, one of my best friends gets married tomorrow and it's sunny in London. So here goes......

The Rally Haiku

fragmented, not lost

Technically there's an argument that by introducing a human being (fellow CBer) into a Haiku then by definition you've turned it into a Senryu. However, that's semantics and for debate the next time I'm drunk enough to care :)

Given that the Senryu is supposed to be "cynical" I'll submit my first entry in that particular style. For the record, I love the NCB/NUB.

Rhythm mother earth

That's my excuse anyway. ;)

I determined that I don't waste enough time at work playing CB, so why not waste more time by writing haikus about wasting time? I guess these are about my experiences with CB and don't have much to do with a fellow CBer, but I will submit them nonetheless.
