Gotta afford a RoS before I could equip one. These aren't even my gears I'm wearing. I've still got a long road ahead of me Networth-wise ~_^ but it'll be rewarding.

Just a question, are all the minions having the same amount of experience or is the UC minion much bigger than the other 2?

Two are large, the Wall (though you couldn't tell by his gears) is small. The two large ones are equally sized.

However, I did post a Bet Loss PR saying that I wasn't going to try to hit 150 UC anymore and sent both Ranger and deifeln payment as though I had lost already, so I'm not holding anyone to anything.

But what is the conclusion: is UC worth it?

Oops, sorry, I think I overdid it with my "black belt" idiot style karate. :P

My conclusion is that UC is most certainly worth it.

With all Barzoo's gears equipped:

I have 900k total Defensive DX in melee rounds.

I have an Evasion equivalent to Sutekh's during melee and a 1.2M level Evasion during ranged, which makes it the highest (though inherent) Evasion.

I have a +164 weapon (again, with Barzoo's gears)

I hit close to 200k with 200k STR.

I can hit quads.


In conclusion: I'm basically training a weakened Evasion minion, but he gets a free weapon with it is how I look at it. Only a few tanks can touch me in melee, and NONE do in ranged. (exceptions like freed don't count!)

And though in order to get a UC this high I have to have a limited number of minions, this also gives me the availability to specialize elsewhere since tanks are already dealt with: Hence my 1.05M AMF/PL battery minion and my (soon to be MgS/heavy AC) wall.


Being able to counter BOTH tanks and mages efficiently is the whole point behind this team for me, and I can do that. So I'm happy.


And this is at 1.2M MPR....I can't wait to see how it does further on! At this point, I see no reason to pump UC further for a while unless I just feel like going for (200) or I want enough Evasion to completely dodge the opponent tanks, both ranged AND melee.

a good GA kills of a quad hitting UC tank pretty fast.
Especially if your hitting a huge wall with enough HP, your in need of some DM.

Nah, it's not DM he needs, it's VA. That can sort out the GA problem if he's hitting quad strikes.

I think I'm going to train a small (20) Prot, as well. That should help both with GA and other damages.

If you're going to train 20 on Protection you might as well take it higher - for about 400k Protection you get about (29). After about 500k it starts to get very expensive to take it any higher. An approx 5 million level Protection gets you about (36).....

Except 20 on Prot is like 50k stat points, which is about all I'd really wanna put on an ED. Right now my team is completely unreliant on EDs, as they are EXP that can be easily nullified, and I don't want to change that.

I see your point. I guess it depends on how many DM users there are around you at the moment really. I know there's a couple of big DMs up there, but I didn't really see much reduction from DM when I was running my last team (still number 3 protection in the game!!). I saw enough to leave me convinced that protection's level is the damage reduction percentage. So either keep it low to avoid your team being reduced too much, or get an extra 10% knocked off the damage you're taking....

That one is actually easy to find. It's the main free retraining thread in the September changelog.

130k damage per hit with that much of experience spent (as in 3.1mil level if include gear effect) :P I would say the return is really puny.

I bet a CoC with 1.2mil level can triple that easily, needless to say 3mil level of CoC.

Then you would also need to imagine 3.1 mil STR + 32mil Bone....

NK: I only had 164 UC for a short period of time. When I did I was hitting ~200k with around that much ST....which isn't great, but it isn't all so terrible when you are hitting quads.

All the battle damages here are copied over from when I had 153 UC and an AoI on.

If you meant the damage I hit now with my team, that's because my team is only at 128 UC, due to me being cheap and not being able to afford proper gears ;)

A 3M CoC might do a lot more damage, yes, but does it come pre-packaged with a 800k-1.2M Evasion?
