That's right folks, in the interest of making CB into a happy loving environment I'm inviting folks here to share tidbits of personal information that will make us appreciate and understand each other.
(no, I don't know if I'm being sarcastic, seriously)

Here's what I'm up to lately...

I want to start living together with my girlfriend, who's a med student and currently doing an internship. She's bound to a specific region for her university and hospital.

I need to get a proper job to be able to afford living together. I recently got my Bachelor degree in media studies, and need more experience 'in the field' before doing my Masters. The thing is, I haven't been able to find a job that fits my education level and interests, in the region my girlfriend lives. Yet.

I'm in my 40s, didn't date until my late 20s, didn't marry until my 30s, and have an awesome wife. So you guys out there worried about your love life in your 20s, be encouraged. Its better to get it right than get it fast.

We live on 10 acres and have 5 kids, a few milking goats, honey bees, chickens, and assorted pets. My wife's passions are animals and kids. Mine is games. I love games. Miniature games. Role playing games. Collectible card games. Board games. Computer games. But NOT party games, and not so many games that I get the wife mad. My job is a puzzle game - computer programming. It just happens to pay better that being a computer game tested or I might have gone that route.

I cannot begin to make up my mind when it comes to my personal goals... when I grow up (I'm bald and seconds away from 30 mind you) I want to be an extreme marathon runner, writer, Kung-Fu master, philosopher, think tanker, folk singer, revolutionary, and short order cook.

I like big games and I cannot lie. My wife likes The Sims, so I get a bit of a free pass while she is busy. I read mostly sci-fi and fantasy with a liberal scattering of classics and non-fiction. My wife has about 3/4 ton of art/food/wine reference books.
I lost quite a few BA on my NUB because my wife would have fired me for getting up at 4am to burn BA.
I like horseback riding and camping though I'm not big on Pina coladas or getting aught in the rain.

I was once on the run for several hours from the military police on a North Carolina base when I was four years old. Teachers learned not to turn their back on me during nap time after that incident.

This incident was repeated with the civilian police in Ohio when I was in the 2nd grade. A teacher tried to scare me into being quiet by not allowing me to enter the lunch room with the other students. When she came out to get me, I was gone. The "abducted child" scare came to an end when my grandmother came home three or four hours later and found me with a supply of peanut butter sandwiches and my uncle's comic books.

I attended third grade in Oakland, California and lived in family housing on Oakland Army Base. On my first day there, the principal called me into his office and said "I have a file on you."

Since it was 1969 and 1970, I got to do fun things like wander Haight-Ashbury on the weekends, watch biker gangs pass my father's car during family trips, and get sent to the principal's office for singing the lyrics to "Lucifer Sam" one day in class. My file got thicker. I am pleased to say that I was never a suspect in the Zodiac killings.

I would watch Family Guy over almost any TV show.
I watched every episode of Scrubs over a weekend. It was awesome.
I'm glad GWBush is getting out of office. I'm not as enthused about the potential replacements.

I am trying to build a Tesla Coil for a science project. I will probably give up.

I'm serious about not drinking. Ever. Not at weddings or New Years. Not even when people beg.
I wonder why people want me to do these things so badly... I mean, what are they getting out of it?

I played CB1 in college... we actually found CB1 on accident, and I could have bought a Loch in store the first day I played, but I didn't know it was the best weapon in game. me and three friends played it for one day, I stopped playing for a month but decided to come back.
I stop playing CB about 4 times a year, i sell all my CB stuff about twice a year and then a month later decide to play again.
I'm currently playing again.
