Careful Using The Tattoo Artist (in General)

Yesterday I tried using the Tat. artist to ink over my EF lvl. 2.2 million to into an IF of the same size...
It changed my EF into an IF but didnt change the level of the tat...
Upon trying to undo the inking, it didnt even give my EF back so now I am stuck with an IF lvl 125 and out roughly $8 million and my only decent tattoo..
I'm guessing I inked it backwards but have never had a problem before (and i have even inked the same tattoo before at the same level), and seriously, why would there even be an option to REVERSE a tattoo down to base?
Anyway, BECAREFUL and READ the tattoo artist page carefully before you use it.
Now heres the kicker: Apparently there isn't even ANY record of me owning this tattoo...pretty funny heh? - Dinh

sure, the inking victim doesn't have to be base.

I've added a check in the TA/SY to reject using a more powerful target as the fee.

(I was going to buff Vanilla's tattoo back up but he has not been nice to Shade, so when I didn't find his tattoo in the backup from the 12th I stopped looking. You catch more flies with honey than vinegar...)

Nobody fined you anything, you were the one that made the mistake.

As you have seen I've removed some posts in this thread. Not in my defense or in any one elses. The fact that he lost what he had isn't going to be made any better if people start making fun or fight about it.

there should have been a failsafe installed way before this happened its been what 4 years since CB2 went live? if that had happened to me i would be cussing up a storm and probably got forum/chat/cmail banned for forever.

Jon i know for a fact he had it because he used to beat me because of it. Now i beat him because he isn't dealing the massive amount of SG he was. will you please look only like from the 11th forward it has to be there.

A little history.

In the beginning of CB there was no tattoo artist.

Then the tattoo artist charged 1% of your tattoo's levels to convert it.

Then it became a fixed 400k for normal tattos and 80k for lesser ones.

Then, only within the past year, has it been in its current form. I think even less then 6 months.

And sometimes people actually need to READ what the pages state before jumping into things.

I feel very bad for VN and hope something can be done to help him out. But others, including myself, have paid a "stupidity tax", some even worse then what just happened.
