Mojo Patroneus [My2ndClan] March 13 2009 5:24 PM EDT

So Ranger....about that button?

Marlfox [Cult of the Valaraukar] March 13 2009 5:26 PM EDT

Thanks Jon! :)

Lord Bob March 13 2009 5:35 PM EDT

Confused on the Net Worth of the item. The auction listing says $1,495,095. The item page says $26,093. Others have different prices.

blackshadowshade March 13 2009 5:44 PM EDT

Many thanks, Jon! Appreciate the responsiveness and quick action.

AdminQBGentlemanLoser [{END}] March 13 2009 6:05 PM EDT

The NW's haven't changed fromt heir original Pluses.

Also, the starting prices of the Auctions are what the current bids were, before the change. ;)

GnuUzir March 13 2009 6:12 PM EDT

Thank you very much!!!

Zenai [Cult of the Valaraukar] March 13 2009 6:18 PM EDT

Now this is something that makes a difference. People willing to step forward and try to do what is right not for themselves but for others. Thankyou Ranger for being so outspoken for this and starting the petition. Thankyou Jon for Accepting the petition, we now have a bit of faith that we are heard. :)

Phrede March 13 2009 6:43 PM EDT

as usual those that shout loudest - this has gotta be the first - congrats.

Why not nerf the elbow as well :)

Picasso March 13 2009 6:53 PM EDT

Thank you Jon, it's much appreciated.

Thak March 13 2009 7:23 PM EDT

There should be a flag of some sort to where you can only bid on one at a time since only one can be used.
This is just going to end up all the super rich are going to by them all up sell them back at a inflated price and the rest of the community will suffer. As of now the minority will benefit and the majority will be left high and dry.

Now over time the price will change but as of now most people are SOL

Sickone March 13 2009 7:24 PM EDT

Hooray \o/

Flamey March 13 2009 8:38 PM EDT

Haha, cool.

AdminShade March 13 2009 9:30 PM EDT

Don't know if this has been uttered before but perhaps remove _all_ of the AoJ from the game and just put all identical new ones in?

They might now all be +10 but their NW is all different, still something to look out for...

TheHatchetman March 13 2009 11:47 PM EDT

a wise man once said "Far as the +1-+10 randomness thing goes, I wouldn't count on that sticking around for too long... Call it a hunch ~_^"

Lord Bob March 14 2009 12:19 AM EDT

Still no NW fix.

AdminQBnovice [Cult of the Valaraukar] March 30 2009 3:57 PM EDT

The AoJ should be as common as the Katana and Gloves of Mercy, it's a core component of a mainline strat that has no innate ability attached to it.

Limiting the number of users capable of running a Junction strat is a new low for CB, and I for one would like to see this silliness fixed and recognized as the bug it is.

FailBoat[SG] [Forever Alone] March 30 2009 3:58 PM EDT

I agree with Novice.

AdminTal Destra March 30 2009 3:58 PM EDT

add more votes to the black market, im in a clan and a supporter i should get 2

AdminTitan [The Sky Forge] March 30 2009 4:03 PM EDT

Maybe not quite that common nov, but I am a little curious to as why none have spawned since the original release date.

QBRanger March 30 2009 4:07 PM EDT

Novice echos my sentiment exactly.

I am still puzzled why people are not at least voting for the AoJ in the BM.

But I would like to see another 50 AoJ's (at least) put into auctions.

Flood the freaking market, as this is essential to many strategies.

AdminQBnovice [Cult of the Valaraukar] March 30 2009 4:08 PM EDT

I don't see how making a new user save up five mil for an item that does nothing more than allow them to use a certain strat makes sense.
Nothing else on CB has that kind of a restriction on it, even brand new users can have a tank, no matter how crappy it is.

BluBBen March 30 2009 4:10 PM EDT

Why can't we have some rare items? Must every single item sell for dirt and nothing?

QBRanger March 30 2009 4:11 PM EDT

BB,

I agree.

However, an item such as the AoJ is essential to many peoples strategy.

The corn, while is may seem so, is not. Neither is the NSC, AG, DB etc....

Not as essential as the AoJ. Which does nothing but lets you junction a familiar.

AdminTitan [The Sky Forge] March 30 2009 4:15 PM EDT

Have you seen the price of SBs Blub?

AdminQBnovice [Cult of the Valaraukar] March 30 2009 4:19 PM EDT

I am all about rarity, heck I'm the one who wants to see skills and magic have higher starting XP requirements. The AoJ is a singularity however, it's the only place I can think of where without an item you just simply can't run that type of strat. The only class of items with a similar "get it or you can't ride" style is tattoo's themselves. So after a new users works to purchase a familiar they get to wait for an unknown amount of time until they can fight tooth and nail to buy an item that does nothing more that let the familiar they worked so hard to get actually function. Without junction familiars are an unfunny joke. I don't want to go back to that. Honestly, I'd rather see the AoJ deleted, and Junction automatically given to familiars than this, but I'm afraid of what would happen if Amulets are added to the list of items that tat holders can't wear.

Flamey March 30 2009 6:14 PM EDT

Since when was junction ESSENTIAL? People had familiar strats before junction arrived, they didn't just rain from the heavens when junction appeared. It's just making you pay if you want your familiar to be a beast. Your familiar still lives and functions without it. We're going on like it's a tank without a weapon or a mage without a DD spell.

AdminQBGentlemanLoser [{END}] March 30 2009 6:32 PM EDT

It is though Flamey.

Sure, you can run a Familiar without Junction, but then you can run a Tank with a Dagger. Both will perform sub par.

But, Junction is a specific strat in it's own right, which in turn determins other essential skills/gear to use with it.

You can use a Jig on a Mage without Junction, and pile up on Mage gear. Just as you can use an Adam on a Mage, or a pair of AG on a Tank.

But when you add Junction into the Equation (which all Familiar now *have* to be balanced around), you then get the option to use UC boosting gear to pump your Jig.

And that's the *only* way to make a Jig-centric strat.

[P]Mitt March 30 2009 6:47 PM EDT

What about strategies that don't use Familiars?

(i.e. strategies with RoBF, ToE, RoS, etc. etc.)

It's not ESSENTIAL for all strategies - just ESSENTIAL for strategies with familiars.

QBJohnnywas March 30 2009 6:50 PM EDT

DD familiars have no way of being protected against AMF, nor any hope of evading physical damage also without junction.

They've taken a hit from not being able to be boosted by AoF, but for DD familiars the worse thing is the AMF situation. Makes life very difficult for them.

BluBBen April 4 2009 11:12 AM EDT

Thanks for some more AoJ Jon!
