Bug in buying BA? (in General)

AdminShade March 24 2009 2:23 AM EDT

I've been growing quite steadily but for the last week I've seen nothing but this:

You may purchase up to 192 BA for $4,009 apiece.

Does this mean that there is a hard cap on the price of BA? it hasn't gone up in a week.

Fatil1ty March 24 2009 2:25 AM EDT

mines at 192 for $4751 so I guess not, however it goes up much slower

Wasp March 24 2009 2:39 AM EDT

When you change into to 8/20 7/20 zones and stuff thats when the amount goes down and the price goes up

TheHatchetman March 24 2009 2:54 AM EDT

Wasp, price also moves up during the refresh brackets

AdminShade March 24 2009 3:01 AM EDT

Then I think there is a serious bug because Fatility is in 7/20 but still has the BA buying amount of 8/20...

Fatil1ty March 24 2009 3:02 AM EDT

oops... nope I don't...it's 3 in morning so that's my excuse. I'm at 168.

ya give me a smack!

Admindudemus [jabberwocky] March 24 2009 10:58 AM EDT

You may purchase up to 0 BA for $4,788 apiece

QBBast [Hidden Agenda] March 24 2009 11:00 AM EDT

Woo hoo. "You may purchase up to 0 BA for $1,344 apiece." (That should reach each, by the way.)

QBRanger March 24 2009 11:03 AM EDT

You may purchase up to 0 BA for $1,276 apiece.
(You currently have $6,046,143).

It seems to go up in price in increments.

Marlfox [Cult of the Valaraukar] March 24 2009 11:15 AM EDT

You may purchase up to 2 BA for $3,981 apiece.

AdminShade March 24 2009 11:27 AM EDT

Seems to work alright indeed: You may purchase up to 168 BA for $4,581 apiece

Admindudemus [jabberwocky] March 24 2009 11:30 AM EDT

i am at 168 as well. there have been several long posts about this as well with many data points. i will see if i can find them later.

{Wookie}-Jir.Vr- March 24 2009 12:36 PM EDT

Blah I just purchased my ba for the day right before coming here so no data to share :S but I can buy 240 a day... instead of 192... is that normal? (I've been saving up for a few days now, 1360 and counting) I thought 240 was kind of a weird number though because I was used to 192 ﾿

SuperHD March 24 2009 12:42 PM EDT

You may purchase up to 144 BA for $1,321 apiece

i think its normal that NUB or NCB BA cost is higher since they have better cash rewards. i do about 700$ a fight minus heal cost...

it takes me 2 or 3 fights to buy one battle allocation...
ok i just wanted to participate in Shade thread.

AdminLamuness March 24 2009 1:14 PM EDT

You may purchase up to 192 BA for $855 apiece.

Sounds okay to me. ;)

{Wookie}-Jir.Vr- March 24 2009 1:16 PM EDT

So... what's the difference between 192 and 240 a day?

AdminTal Destra March 24 2009 1:26 PM EDT

240 is 10/20 less is 9/20 and so on

{Wookie}-Jir.Vr- March 24 2009 1:28 PM EDT

Ahhh thanks =), my head isn't working to clear today.

Admindudemus [jabberwocky] March 24 2009 4:42 PM EDT

here is one of the threads where we discussed the mini tiers within the greater ba regen zones. there is a reference in that thread though to an earlier post regarding avoid's method of figuring rewards by night strike. the two threads together explain the system we have quite well.

Admindudemus [jabberwocky] March 24 2009 4:44 PM EDT

i wonder if mikel is paying the same amount that ranger was at his top end? in effect, how many tiers within the 6/20 zone are there?

Admindudemus [jabberwocky] March 24 2009 4:46 PM EDT

doh! forgot the link for the above post:

Flamey March 24 2009 6:14 PM EDT

I can't remember when I wasn't on 1,276 a piece. Ranger do you know when it changed? He's 2.9ish and I'm now 3.16 mil and we're on the same amount.

Admindudemus [jabberwocky] March 24 2009 9:41 PM EDT

mikel says he is at 1367. it would seem that there are many tiers in at least the 6/20 zone.

i wonder how it works exactly? it must be mpr based. will the lowest of the 6/20 zone from a year ago though now be in the 7/20 or is it fixed for each regen zone?
