The real irony here is that some of the very folks who criticized Sickone so harshly for doing something he felt was abuse-able to prove his point are now doing the EXACT same thing in order to prove theirs.

So nice work, you two. Keep it up. Prove to Jonathan that the same childish antics that lost us our FS/WTB replies are still alive and kicking today, so we can finally rid ourselves of the FS/WTB forum altogether.

We wish for the rolling bonus--did not get it.

We wish for the AOJ to be fixed---did not get it.

And if you have a problem with me selling my items then o well.

If people can choose the price to sell their items, can I not also?

Your request is reasonable: "I think the current system is rife for abuse. I have a suggestion on how to fix it."

Your methods are not: "I'm going to post multiple FS/WTB threads asking for prices for items that I know are not the standard in an effort to criticize and ostracize another member of the community for something I feel is silly. I do not care if this bumps every other thread off of the Home page; after all, I paid my 2k fee, right? It's not abuse, this is how the system works!"

And again, this is the same thing another member of the community was HARSHLY criticized for not that long ago. Please, pick a standard and stick with it.

Spam is spam, and posting threads that result in confusion isn't likely to be appreciated.

I don't care if you sell your items, or if you ask whatever price you want for them.

I care that you are intentionally doing this with sarcastic, I'd even say unfriendly purpose.

I care that you are doing so to prove a point about the 2k fee post/bump.

I care that you are doing so and not consolidating your items into 1 thread.

Huh? I'm only trying to sell my gear thanks. The fs/wtb forums are cheaper then the auction house so I put my add up here. I fail to see why I'm being childish. I'm not trying to prove a point to anyone. I am, however, trying to sell some unwanted items.

Do you know that when I try to sell my items in 1 thread, I get a lot less bids? Therefore the multiple threads.

There is no reason for this to have grown as big as it has. Good lord, you people need a hobby.

Im not sure what the big deal is here. if the person isnt bumping the post every 10 mins or so how are they spamming. Per AOD's thread mentioned above he bumped in a min of 24 hours pretty much. whats wrong with that. So what if we all know he is not going to get that amount. If he does good for him and sorry for the person who bought it.

Who is to say what topics have a right to be on the home page. If that is the case it should be admin posts about game and made sticky. If you guys are gonna police the board you have to come up with a whole set of rules to say what is considered spam, abuse of systems in place, etc..

Arent there more imporant things to worry about in the game like bugged eq and how to get new players to keep joining.

At the end of the day though the post's that I created are still doing what they are meant to do - selling. Those items are both for sale still, the frame of mind I am in when I wrote the post shouldn't be an issue.

That was put to stop others from commenting on other peoples sales. Aren't you doing it now by making a post whining about someones sale? Either way that was a good change, and one that was probably needed.

No, it's not just you Tyriel. I checked out the FS/WTB forum, and aside from the two people selling $CB at far, far, FAR over the accepted price, I haven't seen anything I would object to.
