I believe we should have a discussion on this rather than vote like lemmings.

I thought the point of this IS to get people to vote like lemmings, because otherwise nobody votes at all, and the BMVG goes to waste.

Exactly Verifex. The reason Ranger wishs for us to vote out a SF is due to his current need for one.

NO body needs an AoJ! go rent one!. The game gets brutally stagnant when it costs 1.5M to buy a tat (7.5 USD).

besides it's ironic that people are voting for the AoJ when nobody has freaking familiars.

There's a difference between Renting an item necessary to your strat, and owning it.

Maybe if all those hording AoJ's sold them instead, it would be a different matter...

Also, I see 4 in Rentals, not 10, and none of them are +10, so only junction at 90%.

I suppose you could always name someones rental, but then you could send me the $5 instead.

There are 75 AoJs in the game. We definitely need more of them.

There are 186 steel familiars out there. Maybe those who want one aren't asking loud enough.

I think it says enough that some of the people voting for AoJ are people currently renting them. They're obviously keen to own them.

And those that need familiars will vote for them.

When people stopped voting Mitt. It has had to change due to the lack of interaction and more of a forced lemming system.

I hate this BMVG system. It active encourage people to vote for their preferred item instead of going with the flow. If I want a lesser electric familiar, and I vote AoJ, LEF isn't likely to be top vote. So in order to get my LEF, I want to NOT vote AoJ, and vote LEF instead, so everyone who wants something votes whatever they want => System breakdown!!!.

The best way would be a weekly poll. One that one of the admins could put up. That's just my thought though.

If somebody wants to take on the Black Market Vote - that is organising the vote, carrying out the posting then I'll use my vote whichever way that posting takes me, as I'm sure many of us do and have been doing for quite some time now.

If anybody disagrees with it then take it on yourselves. The people who have been carrying out their voting quietly, consistently over the years will no doubt continue to do so, just at the prompting of whatever voting guide exists.

To make anything spawn with the amount of votes necessary for most items we need to vote en masse lemming style otherwise it doesn't happen.

Do you see more FS posts wanting a AoJ or a familiar?

I see hardly a one for a AoJ now. Before I saw quite a few.

Times have changed. I do not care if a SF gets spawned after 10 different familiars. But I see all the posts in the forums wanting a familiar with 4-5 bumps. I see that as a problem.

So GL, time to stop saying this is all about me. Spawn a SF in a year, I do not care. But there are plenty of people needing a HF or RBF who cannot find one. I think that is more important than spawning another AoJ given there are quite a few in rentals, and hardly a post wanting to buy one.

But to blindly say we are voting for xxx due to the fact it has the most votes is sheer madness.

Why not ask the community what they really need? I see the need for familiars far more than an AoJ or SB or a corn. Just look at the FS/WTB threads and see for yourself before you attack me for being selfish.

Call me crazy, but I don't want to rent an AoJ, why would someone buy one just to rent it out?! I can't name it that way if I wanted to. I voted AoJ and will next week.

I would like a SF. However, I did not vote for a SF or ask people to vote for one.

I voted for a HF, and next time will vote for a RBF or HF or RoS if that is what is needed more.

This is not about me, or what I personally want/need. It is about what is good for the community and I see the need for more base tattoos, moreso than another AoJ or SoD.

If you disagree with me, great. But do not attack me personally for it.

Just to chime in on this. I am sorry but the base tattoo's are for strat changes... but in the case of an AoJ that is a strat maker. Before the change to make junction an amulet a person could have had the strat forever and now can't make it work. I see those as being a big difference. I got my AoJ but I understand how people that are wanting one don't want to rent forever. So in their mind getting an item that is NEEDED to make their strat work is a bit more important than getting base tattoo's to try a new strat .. Just personally I think those can wait since your current set up still works as opposed to a person needing an AoJ to make theirs work at all. Just my opinion, but I think I will start using my votes again and as long as people continue to need an AoJ will vote for them, until I see people getting them just to rent them more.

And the reason I didn't post a WTB AoJ is because of the Black Market votes so I can get it from the auctioneer instead of from people who bought them just for sheer profit. Granted the person who bought it when I was bidding it is using the amulet, but the point is I don't want to buy it/rent it from the money-mongers. =P

Eh, there will never be a resolution. As long as people want one, they will vote for them, if others want to vote to spawn them as well, they will. If not, vote for what you want. Demand right now is favoring one or two items (from what I have read in this thread) and unfortunately it's not familiars at this point.

I do think there is a nice demand for familiars. At least from what I have seen in the FS threads.

There are currently 1149 'Greater' Familiars in CB.

There are currently 75 AoJ to allow those to be junctioned.

That means 6.5% of all the familiars in the game can currently be used to the best of thier ability.

I'd like to suggest spawning two Hals, one after the other. Why? Well, there's certainly no self-interest in this, since I really don't need a Hal.

Rather, the number of votes to spawn a Hal is half of the number we normally consider to be realistic, so realistically, we should spawn two.
