Why do people do this: (in Off-topic)

Spawn an opinion, when it is easy to just live and let live.
Is it to be different?
Is it to finally win an argument?
Is it to stick your nose up at all the conformists that follow the
opinions of other forum posts?
Why is there even a choice for a posting and for replying to posts as both spawn meaningless bickering? As do lesser debates.
(I just couldn't resist resurrecting some levity. *smile*)

I let my puny Jigorokano Familiar express my opinion :p
cuz we are human and we like to nag and whine
May 27 2009 2:50 PM EDT
Because as humans we are curious.
Without curiosity imagine how boring things would be.
All living in one community, using sticks to make fire, without TV or cell phones. Or even CB.
That is why I did that post. I hope that answer is good enough.
And here I thought I was the young one on CB >_<.

Ranger, I generally am quite willing to listen to your view point, but if you insist on calling fire boring I will have to lambaste you sir!
.... ooh, a box of matches... wait, where was I?
Actually I was curious about the steel brig voting but my laziness won out, so I think active curiousity is the key here.

Have I ever called fire boring?
Fire is one of the most beautiful things nature creates. However, uncontrolled it can be one of the most deadly.

I apologize... I mis-read your previous comment where you said making fire WITH STICKS is boring....
hehe... fire is awesome....
May 27 2009 4:12 PM EDT
to quote one of my teenage idols "hehe, hehe, yeah, fire! fire! fire!"
May 27 2009 4:14 PM EDT
You Butthead you!!!
Fire is boring. Magma, however, is quite another thing.

Selling my dignity for 10k
May 27 2009 4:38 PM EDT
Cube, it is against CB rules to attempt to sell things that don't exist...
... and as the start price is a mere 10k I fear your dignity may be one such imaginary item.
All joking aside, where do you want the 10k?
"Because as humans we are curious."
Curiosity killed the cat.
""Because as humans we are curious."
Curiosity killed the cat. "
you mean human?

Using a trite saying isn't exactly proof of the concept.
It was supposed to be funny :) no offense to Ranger.
Apparently Goodfish wants you to make a death trap and record an instance of curiosity killing the cat........ you're sick.
Cat Curious enough to walk up to a PitBull = DEAD CAT
But that's hardly a death trap...
This isn't helpful at all.
"You Butthead you!!!"
That was so Beavis :o
