Ok, it's been nearly four weeks already but I've been coming onto CB to get away from my responsibilities lol!
On May 21st I became a dad: a little boy called Alfie!
Which is why you may find me lurking online at odd times for somebody from the UK.....

The fun part is when you start teaching them to talk, then once you teach them that, you have to spend the rest of your life teaching them to shut up!

A hearty congratulations to you! Good health and good luck to everyone in the Was House! *smile*

Until about 4 years old, it is one rough ride.
Well worth it though.
So, when is his sibling coming?
Congrats on Alfie.
(and damn you for holding out for nearly a month!)

Congrats hun. :) Kids are cute, until they are yours....Just kidding. I really am happy for you. Kids are always going to be fun, no matter the situation. It's always great to have someone that looks up to you, enjoys your company and is a part of you and who you are. Hope everything is well. :) Enjoy them. :) Good Luck on everything.
From the top of my short 21 years of life, I find the idea of having children mightily frightening. I respect the courage it takes to actually conceive and raise them.
Do your best to make a good person out of yours! (Whatever ''good'' means to you, that is not anyone's business.) And good luck for everything else that you cannot control.
All the best, really. I mean it.

Congrats mate. Needs some adjusting to but definitely worth it.
PS. Getting going on number 2 :)

Kids are awesome, I have 2, and the younger one was practically potty-trained by his older brother. YAY! Yeah its the easy way out, but it works right? Anywho, I have kid #3 on the way, and trust me bro, it gets easier after about 8 months or so.

Congratulations - such a cool name too !
Next time I'm down your good self, GL and I are on the lash - I'm buying. We can all stay at GL's new place, he's got a great Chinese restaurant on his doorstep :D
Congrats JW on the little one! Such a life changing experience... so get started on your second! ^_^
:D There's enough room in my new place for all of us to stay!
As long as you don't mind inflatable beds. ;)
Claire put Emma in a proper bed lat weekend, so I'll even have a cot for Alfie. ;)
