I would like to know your top 10 songs from MUSE. You can of course also just send me your top 3 or top 5. 10 just seemed a nice amount to me.
The reason I'm asking is that I have a really hard time making a top 10 due to the always present really good songs on any of their 4 or 5 albums.
Notes:
- please do not ask me who Muse is, google if you must know.
- please do not put in any other bands which you think are better, it's not about good or bad, it's about just 1 band in particular.
My top 10 however certainly contains these:
Sunburn
Bliss
Plug in Baby
Feeling Good
Time is Running Out
Starlight
Knights of Cydonia
Time is Running Out
Butterflies and Hurricanes
Sunburn
Apocalypse Now
Newborn
Assassin
just some of them. luv all their music

really, their only solid album (or as close as they've gotten thus far) is Absolution, probably because they used so much SOAD-style guitar.
Time Is Running Out
Stockholm Syndrome
Hysteria
Butterflies and Hurricanes (just for the piano interlude - really enjoyable, esp. from a classical background)
The Small Print
Endlessly (first glimpse of the transition into their Black Holes style, though I think this track is much better done than any of what's on the album)
Thoughts of a Dying Atheist (personal favorite)
Supermassive Black Hole
Knights of Cydonia
Hysteria
Assassin
Endlessly

Knights Of Cydonia is simply genius, and it has to be turned up loud. And Starlight has five minutes ago turned up on random play on the iTunes!
Nice!

If I had to pick a favorite track by Muse, it would probably be Hysteria, but they have so many good songs...
I would say
Newborn
Plug in baby
Sunburn
I prefer there older stuff. Who's seen them live? They are very good live.

"..., but they have so many good songs... "
-> Precisely my point :p
" Who's seen them live?"
-> I've seen them live when they first visited The Netherlands back in (forgot date) with their second album just barely released.
The only song I like is 'Time is Running out'.
Don't know if that helps or not. ^^
Supermassive Black Hole
New Born
Plug In Baby
Stockholm Syndrome
These are definitely my favorite Muse songs, as far as I can remember without over-analyzing it.
I've seen them live twice. They have a pretty solid performance, overall a very fun band to listen to. They make up their lack of showmanship with the sheer OMPH of their music.
