Drop rate decreased? (in General)

Just curious if the drop rate has decreased or is it because lesser tats were removed from drops.

Other players and I have not received drops in a long time.

It is still happening apparently.

Haven't had a drop in a very long time (2months+)

Conserding I had like 7 in the first few months of the change, it seems unusually to get none for such a long period. Randomness can't be this random...

You misunderstand the concept of random.

The amount of rares spawned into auctions/drops is dependent upon the number of battles fought.

I do not know the statistics of whether there are less fights now than when the drop system was enacted.

However, the removal of lesser tattoos certain accounts for a decrease in the rate of drops.

You misunderstand the concept of awesome. At least, you must, if you apply the word to yourself so much.

Just because people are publishing their drops a lot less doesn't mean the drop rate decreased. Humans are far less consistent than computers.

well my only wonder in all of this is a simple one. When the Lessers were taken out of the Random Drop System (RDS) did the Formula get readjusted to compensate for this or was it left the same? If it was left the same then its formula is off and we are indeed not getting the percentage of drops promised.

I posted a comment like this a while back and was more or less corrected (by NS, I think) not to assume things, that removing the lesser tats was a zero sum event.

keep your eye on the Economic Reports as the drops are included in it.
