yeppers, you are the largest single minion team but nem still has the largest single minion in the game. recruit a minion cost is based on the largest minion, since his cost is higher he is higher. once your cost to add a minion surpasses his, you will be the highest single minion team as well as having the highest minion mpr.

you will catch up quickly as he is now splitting xp between two, therefore your minion is now growing twice as fast as his.

unless someone else has a higher minion recruit cost than nem or if they have four minions you would have to figure out how much xp they have.

my character igot noname was the largest single minion team in the game as well as the largest single minion in the game a few years back.

speaking of that, i still do wish we had that stat tracked even though it wouldn't be me up top any longer!

Ahh ok see I did not know about that, Interesting. Well Nem was 4.4-4.5 when he hired so for now that is my goal. I guess the only other way to find the answer to your question dudemus is to ask around. It would be a cool thing to find out though and give me a Goal to go after.

i loved the stat once someone pointed it out to me. oddly enough, picasso's character took it from me i do believe.

i do wish you could see it in the standings page, just for grins!

Dang, Zen. Hellish good NCB you've got. Even if you don't wind up with the highest NCB MPR, it's still amazing. My only solace in watching you fly by me is knowing just how expensive it is to maintain a huge single archer. :)

Zenai, just for the record, since I know you keep a log... just how much CB$ did you use up so far (maybe split between BA and gear) ?
And if you like, if you don't mind, how much did that cost you in USD so far ?

The bad stuff now : so... we all know (or, hopefully, soon will know) just how expensive it was for Zenai to run this NCB, even if we ignore the gear NW (which was by no means negligible, actually, it was the heaviest CB$ sink, but that's another story), don't we ?
We also know he pretty much bought every BA he could, he got most of his natural BA burned, and he had a pretty decent clan bonus all the time.
And still... he made it to, what, 80% of the top MPR ?
Oh, and we are fully aware just how insanely much hiring a single "expensive option" new minion would be for him now, right ?
Granted, he could theoretically get over the top MPR, but it would require him to hire ALL three extra minions with that expensive option !

Seriously... is THAT the amount of CB$ you need to spend in order to get to the alleged "95% of top MPR" ? Do you really have to follow a single minion strategy to the top and then do massive hiring ? Because I don't see any other way of getting anywhere near those sort-of promised 95%s of the top MPR... or do you... seriously ?

It's not a question of fairness, it's a question of whether or not the system Jon set in place is working as planned. If Jon intended for N*Bs to reach 95% (was it really that high?), then you have to wonder if it's even feasible.

However, looking to Zenai to answer that question isn't fair. Zen chose to run one of the most expensive setups, but a better control may be someone getting that high without selling bodily organs for CB$.

Quite feasible and possible. If you run it right, and hire at the right time, it's quite easy to even overtake the top with an NCB run. (and by easy, I don't mean easy at all, I mean really hard but possible XD) Oh, and awesome job by the way. Be sure to hire three minions after your run to prove my point ;P.

Honestly I am kind of torn on the answer to this. This is my first NCB so I have nothing else to compare it to. Easier for "Who" would be the prime word added to your question novice. See if Archers/Tanks were too much easier then USD spenders could overrun the Ladder/Tiers. Too much harder and noone running an Archer/Tank could make it at all. Still yes it was extremely hard and I feel a bit of leniency for Tanks/Archers should be put in place the right amount I just could not tell you.

Indeed this was by far the most expensive thing I have done for a game yet! The Viability for an Archer/Tank as a successful NCB without major backing or insane planning(both in-game and out) is doomed to failure in my opinion. Plain and Simple it's just too Expensive. BA costs alone were over 100 Mil and that number is still growing! Factor in Upgrades for just one minion as in my case and holy mackerel!


My personal opinion is that it was insanely expensive, I could have done better with all of the investment, if I had been more experienced my MPR could be that of LR's Growth Rate right now only 1 Month Ahead. Overall I feel that I did ok, with the planning, Experience, Help, Guidance, and Backing that I got. In other words I did the best I could with what I had and I do not think I did too badly. I have broken many Records and Hit Several Milestones and even made an NCB History Milestone!

By the Way thankyou novice for all of the advice! Forger Furry if not for you having my back I would never have gotten this far! To all of the others who have helped me get to where I am with this NCB Thankyou for helping and believing in me. I hope that I have not disappointed you!

SG it's all about perspective to me, it always has been. Yes many other people will see things how they choose to no matter what and will probably over-analyze or judge me for what I am about to say, so be it.

Everyone I bought CBD from either needed the USD, was helping me out or was a drag to this game. So in essence I helped other people, other people helped me, and I helped the game by expediting the exit of an unwanted element. Just for the record every CBD I bought has indeed gone directly back in to this game via Upgrades, Insta's or Bought BA.

In PMs someone said that using USD is akin to cheating and involves no Strategy whatsoever and that it was beneath me because I have a good strategic mind. I responded with a simple statement after a background scenario. I stepped out of CB 3 Years ago(now 4) because I was angry about the departure/shutdown of CB 1. When I came back there was so much I was overwhelmed, I noted that I missed a ton of things such as a NUB(because I still bought a supportership) and an NCB.

So how is that doing something beneath my strategic mind when I have effectively circumvented time and have gotten,coupled with hard work, everything I aimed for from the start? i have been against usd influence since cb1 and hoped cb2 would shut that down, jon chose otherwise though.

with that being said, usd spenders and nub sellouts are all working within the rules of the game as they are now set and thus cannot be cheating or even abusive.

in other words, get mad at the game rules not the people who are working within them!

Oh please, not mad at the game. If anything, jealous that some of ya'll have the money to spare on something like this. I know I couldn't afford anything like that for some time.

Hehe a lot of that has been saved up for a while, my wife was wondering when I was gonna start spending it, plus it has a decent boost from income taxes(I got a share for my entertainment as did she :-D)
